Thunder are an ex-rock band, some of you may know that. They have recently split up and I went to there last concert in Liverpool. I searched for a website for them but I couldn't find one, so I thoguht I would make one. So I am in the early stages of producing it. I did find one site though that is run by two of the members. I asked them if they could sponser me. I soon got a reply It went like this :-
Hi Graeme,
You don’t need permission from us to do a site on Thunder, but of course we would love to see your site up and running! We will add you site to the links page of Bowesandmorley.com
Unfortunately we cannot be seen as sponsers to any site other than our own, as it confuses people as to what is and isn’t official and also upsets webmasters of other Thunder sites, so we apologise for not being able to provide you with this. Anything “sponsored” by us would have to be over seen and maintained by us….
…good news is that there will be a brand new official Thunder web site up and running by March, but you can never have to many thunder sites out there helping to spread the word!
Good luck with the site and please let us know when it is up and running and I will get it added to the links page of B&M.com
