N-Dubz star Dappy has ended up in hospital after being flung from his horse and kicked in the face.

The rapper, 26, was riding in the grounds of his swanky home when the animal got spooked. He was left in agony and covered in blood.

A source said: “Dappy sees himself as a bit of a Lord of the Manor and he was cantering around when the horse reared up suddenly.

“He was left sprawled on the ground, and to make matters even worse, the horse then stamped on his face. There was blood everywhere.”

Dappy spent the night in hospital after Wednesday’s fall and it was not known yesterday evening if he had returned home.

It is the latest in a string of dramas for Playing With Fire rapper Dappy, who rose to fame with N-Dubz bandmates Tulisa and Fazer.

In February, he was given a six-month suspended sentence after sparking a petrol station brawl.

And in 2010 he caused outrage when he got the number of a Radio 1 listener who had called him “vile”.

The star, who has a sprawling home in Hertfordshire, sent her abusive messages, one of which said “your gonna die”.

He had just been involved in an anti-bullying campaign.

Yesterday, spokesman Terry Mills said: “I can confirm that my client was involved in a horse riding accident at home where he fell from his horse and was subsequently kicked in the face.

“Dappy was rushed to hospital where he received medical treatment and is now recovering.”
