What is Luke suppose to do to win people over? He was one of the best in both rounds last night and he still hit the bottom two.

I really don't understand it when Nicholas did some horrific performances last night in particular.

Fanbases are pretty much established in the early days of the show, and luke was the weird one with silly hair who most people (inc me) though shouldn't have got through to lives. He has got better every week, to the point where he is now my fave, but a lot of people are stubborn and stick with their original faves :shrug:

It was Nicholas' a thousand years audition that won me over.

But since the lives its been the same damn thing every week. No personality shown ever, seems a bit arrogant too tbh.

I have said all along, Nicholas is a good singer with a good voice,I also believe he still could likely win this series,there is a feel as to the Leon Jackson year for me.

I am stunned and amazed that Luke was in the bottom 2 again,what this means is that he got the least votes out of himself, Rough Copy,Nicholas and Sam Bailey.

It may well be, no matter what he does next week that he could be one to get the least votes then.
It is clear that Sam Bailey and Nicholas have connected well with the mass of the voting viewers and Luke's amazing talent and performances are being missed by them somehow.

However, no one is safe as we keep getting told,voting is really important.
I voted loads for Luke from last night so I don't know what is going wrong as he seems universally liked by most on here and elsewhere too.

It sort of seems like we're more or less guaranteed another flop / west end career winner this year. Sam Bailey seems untouchable, it's ridiculous... She has a voice but lets face it, she used to be and still is a cruise ship singer. The likelihood of her selling well in the modern music marketplace is basically zilch.

It would be good for luke to reach the final but I actually think 4th place will be OK for him, if he does go next week. Winning the show would be an absolute disaster for him... He needs to get away from the pop grindhouse as quickly as he can after x factor.

The 'rocker'/more obscure musical taste acts never really do overly well, he's done better than I anticipated, I was expecting 9th.

He should get a record deal now though, and may potentially rebound to the final, based on last night's sing off being a wow moment and the rage of him being B2, it didn't go down well on the internet, we'll see. Hopefully he makes the final, he won't win so won't suffer the boy curse, but can still have a successful career for his standards.
