ITV has said it has ‘no plans’ for former Apprentice contestant Katie Hopkins to appear on This Morning following a petition calling on the outspoken commentator to be banned from any future TV appearances.

The 38-year-old media personality endured a wage of negative comments after she made an apparent joke about Scottish life expectancy just hours after a helicopter crash killed nine people in a Glasgow.
