The latest X Factor 2013 song spoilers are here, so who’s singing what on tonight’s show?

Saturday night’s ninth X Factor live show is the semi-final, with just four acts remaining in the competition.

The pressure is on as the finalists compete to make it through to next weekend’s gran live final at Wembley Arena.

This weekend they’ll be singing two songs each, with a theme of Elton John v Beyonce.

The judges will each give their comments as usual, but it’ll be the public alone who decides which two hopefuls face elimination on Sunday night’s results show with the flash vote no more.

As we approach the final, which two unlucky acts will become the latest to fall into the bottom two, and who will the panel send home on Sunday night’s results show?

Sunday’s second live show will also see performances from former X Factor champ Leona Lewis and XFactor regular Michael Buble.

Here’s this weekend’s ninth X Factor song list!

X Factor 2013 songlist – Week 9

Please note: Not in performance order

Luke Friend
Best Thing I Never Had
Something About The Way You Look Tonight

Nicholas McDonald
Halo
Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me

Rough Copy

Sam Bailey

Candle In The Wind

What do you make of Saturday night’s X Factor song choices? Add your comments below!

The X Factor live shows continue at 8PM on Saturday night with the latest results show on the Sunday evening.

Bookies make Sam Bailey the favourite going into the episode once again, with the prison officer now odds-on to win.

Meanwhile, after Tamera’s exit from the competition last week the next elimination looks like it’ll be between Rough Copy and Luke Friend, with Nicholas McDonald tipped to join Sam in the final.

Luke having the song choices that can't showcase a big moment from him, cracking.

Hopefully the momentum from the sing off gets him into the final.

My prediction for this weeks performances.

Beyonce performances:
Luke Friend - Best Thing I Never Had - I had to check this song out on Youtube because I had never heard this song before in my life, and I've got to be honest he does not suit the song on paper, in fact I'm struggling to see how he'll rock this up tbh.

Nicholas McDonald - Halo - Well I've always wanted to hear a guy's version of this song, but why Nicholas lol!? If he couldn't sing The Greatest Day very well then I doubt that he will sing a song that's even harder to sing very well.

Rough Copy - Survivor - Cheating the theme aside these will flop on this song quicker than the next Call Of Duty game comes out. I honestly don't get how these have got so far.

Sam Bailey - If I Were A Boy - Obvious song choice being possibly shouted out by a Karaoke singer who will try to replicate the Beyonce version.

Elton John performances:
Luke Friend - Something About The Way You Look Tonight - Again I had never heard of this song at all until I listened to it last night, I actually think Luke can rock this up quite well but I'm scared that two unknown songs to TXF public might see him back in the bottom two or whatever voting format is happening this week.

Nicholas McDonald - Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me - Boring and just trying to get Joe's success from a few years back.

Rough Copy - Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word - What's with the long song titles lol, but anyway I think this performance of Rough Copy's could be the worst performance of the night as it will really show how bad their vocals really are as they will probably go for the Blue version.

Sam Bailey - Candle In The Wind - Another boring song choice from a boring singer, is Sam Bailey out to even out bore Nicholas this week or something lol?

Odds of Rough copy having back up vocals/quire/pre recorded vocals

because she is boring, she's done every song practically the same as the original, and while her voice is easily the most powerful, I can listen to the originals just fine if I wanted to.

Luke ix way way more entertaing than mumsy Sam. What's scarey is she's about the same age as beyonce and younger than pink but seems like their tired mother. Whereas beyonce started pre motherhood, Sam is ultimately starting as a mumsy mother of two. Zzzzzzzzz

Let's be honest, she has no energy on stage, and even her die hard supporters will have to admit she dancers like an embarassing mumsy 30 something aunt who cringily tells her kids and nephew "I've still got it" and "I am boogying to Naughty guy" to which her nephew replies " no, aunt sam it's Naughtie Boy". Nope Sam won't trouble the charts, long term too old to start and too irrelevant. Emilie Sane probably cringed at Sam taking her song and making it a naff celine knock off.

Sam b live would be duller than celine deon, danielo donnel, cliffe and josh groban, but you are probably a cliffe fan so apologise.

Sam b will also be impossible to market to anyone under 40. Cant see a nice bland mumsy middle age white lady's future songs getting too much love on Bbc 1xtra. It's all about Tamera, Rc and Luke post XF.Nick Grimshaw probably won't play her, on account Sam is utterly irrelevant to almost everyone under 27, chart show host Jameela Jamil has said Sam is best suited to West End and Guardian columnist said no songwriter will want their songs performed by her, whereas Emili Sande, Naughtie Boy, Labrynth et al were all cueing up to work with James Arthur.

Stunned at Sharon giving Sam 'Candle in the Wind', when she was last on the series she slammed an act and the mentor for being given that song to sing, getting all worked up and saying even Elton doesn't sing that song anymore.

This looks a rather monotonous show on paper to be honest.

I totally agree with The Mockinators review of the likely performances.

This, some people may not like Luke because he has weird hair or whatever, but he is the only singer left in the competition, if you want a clown act that was funny to win then I think people have missed their chance with either Shelley or Kingsland Road.

Well she did sing Clown so excuse me for my mistake.

But being serious she is a karaoke act imo, yes she can hold a note to some extent but she has no style of Music which she doesn't have as she makes every song sound like the original.

No she won't be the cutesy boy popstar that will flop, she'll be a female Steve Brookstein that flops in the charts as they both lack charisma on stage, standout voices, and no genre.

Sticking Rough Copy on later than Luke every week except once throughout the whole series, giving Luke unknown song choices to TXF audience while every other act gets massive hits that even TOWIE people would know them.

She has the most powerful voice it doesn't necessarily the best because if we go by that then Tesco Mary had the best voice in series 7 yet I don't know many people liking her on here or tbh anywhere other than Tesco and some parts of Ireland.:joker:

And what I find shocking is that Christopher Maloney got attacked last year for being dated and yet Sam B and Nicholas are the two fan favourites for singing dated Music, I can't help but laugh at the irony of it all.:joker:

I agree Sam has a really good voice but I feel on record it will be less effective, she will no doubt be doing an album of covers and a big ballad if she wins but I cannot see her securing any real lasting success.

Luke is really the only original performer left there now and I say performer purposely because that is what he does with near every song he does, he performs it himself, not the way always that the original was done.

Somehow though, I still see Nicholas winning this series,I know loads who are voting for him and I don't really get why.

Rough Copy are for me just bland and uninteresting, I don't like their takes on the songs they do and they cannot cope with key changes either,it sounds right off when they do a key change together.

She makes the modern song choices sound dated, especially when one case where she did a modern song recently was an Emeli Sande song ffs which is enough to make anyone wanna commit suicide.:joker:

Whatever way he does it the judges will likely love it. I just feel it is like the Leon Jackson year again and that Nicholas will reap the votes in the final, not from me however.

I will be supporting Luke, hopefully it is Rough Copy who finally are out this week for me.

I'm doing a count of modern songs for all the acts this series as I'm interested to see.

Btw I class modern as any song from the 00's.

Sam Bailey:
The Power Of Love (1985)
Make You Feel My Love (1997)
My Heart Will Go On (1997)
No More Tears (Enough Is Enough) (1979)
Theme From New York, New York (1977)
Something (1969)
Bleeding Love (2007)
How Will I Know (1985)
Clown (2013)

Sam Bailey has had 2 modern songs this series so far.

Luke Friend:
Every Breath You Take (1982)
Let Her Go (2012)
Kiss From A Rose (1994)
Play That Funky Music (1976)
Moondance (1969)
Your Song (1970)
What Makes You Beautiful (2011)
Skinny Love (2008)
I Will Wait (2012)

Luke has had 4 modern songs this series so far.

Nicholas McDonald:
True (1983)
She's The One (1997)
Angel (1998)
Rock With You (1979)
Dream A Little Dream Of Me (1931)
Someone Like You (2011)
The Climb (2009)
Just The Way You Are (2010)
Greatest Day (2008)

Nicholas McDonald has done 4 modern songs this series so far excluding tomorrow as the performances haven't happened yet.

Rough Copy:
In The Air Tonight (1981)
I Want It That Way (1999)
(Everything I Do) I Do It For You (1991)
September (1978)
Hit The Road Jack (1960)
Viva La Vida (2008)
Don't Let Go (1996)
Every Little Step (1989)/She's Got That Vibe(1991)
I Believe I Can Fly (1996)

Rough Copy have done 1 modern song so far this series.

I didn't bother to add sing offs in because that would've given Luke an extra number and I think Rough Copy as well but I'm not as sure on that one.
