I an torn on Russell. In a world of TOWIE muppets it's nice to have a celeb who can string a sentence together and about something substantial. On the other hand his appearances on Question Time do smack of 6th form student politics, and his joining the recent demo was attention seeking and a tad hypocritical.

Wow. Judging from Twitter and their use of #p*ki, I knew a lot of the legions of young mainly white girls who 1D fans are racist (see : e.g. amount of US girls and Australian girls who still refuse to accept Zayn's father is of Pakistani heritage, racially abused an Asian comedian who slagged off 1D, and photoshop Zayn's eyes blue and even claim "he's Mexican at worst") but by racially attacking Lorde's boyfriend for being Asian heritage, it kind of makes we wonder if they really can't come to terms with Zayn's ethnicity.
