New Forum Theme - Colour Splash

I have made a new style for the forum called 'Colour Splash'. it is the design that won the previous design competition.

To view, either go to the theme select menu which can be found at the bottom-left of the page and select 'Colour Splash', or to change the theme you always see when you login go to User CP (top-left of page), then, under 'Forum Skin' select 'Colour Splash'.

Post what you think of it. Let me know if you see any problems with it and also I'm interested in what you think about the font used in the theme.

..yeah, that one...I've got the light blue/white one and I much prefer that..it's crisp clean and easy on the eye...the colour splash one is just too fussy for me and detracts from trying to find stuff....

..I don't think there's anything wrong with the skin per se, it's nice to have a new option..it's just that I personally like things quite plain, hence always black and white pics/sigs/avatars etc...but that's a personal thing....I'm sure it'll be quite popular...

The 'Welcome' text should be to the right of the avatar. so I need to fix that on that particular browser (iPhone). I tested it on some browsers, didn't test it on Safari.

It's called 'Montserrat'. The original design used the font 'Gotham', but you have to pay for that. :P

I like it.
My only criticism is that the font looks smaller and I find it harder to read on the homepage.

Also, the grey background instead of white is annoying because trying to make OPs and sigs look nice'll be harder now, by getting images to have transparent backgrounds. (If you get what I mean.)

After two years of using the Christmas theme (which is also amazing) I at last get to change, though I might go back to the Christmas one until January

just a teeny problem with the theme - I can't see the post numbers because of the URL coloring unless I hover over them. It's just a small complaint but I need to use them a bit with ICB at the moment :spin2:

Having spent a couple of hours on here, I'm now accustomed to the new font. I do think it could do with being less 'bold' but it's not a major issue.

It's not blurry for me but I can barely tell the difference between a comma and a full stop and that annoys me. :joker:

Yep you're right, it's the only place it happens for me too. And it's the same in full window mode, for some reason I thought it was just when I had the window smaller than it should be.

my thread got deleted but yeah there are some links on the forum that need their colours changed because they don't show e.g. 'Edit tags' and 'view all members' on social groups

I've had to change the font on my Firefox to use this theme.

The font of the theme is just too small to read and it looked messy. Its all better now :flutter:
