To the people that call Luke shouty?

I want to know how does Luke shout? The only time I've ever seen Luke shout was on his last sing off performance but that's about it for me.

Becuase imo being a Rocker should not be classed as shouting which every Rocker on TXF always gets accused of being shouty all because they are not Karaoke Pop singers.:rolleyes:

And ironically these same people on here and DS that do call Luke shouty then announce themselves as Sam Bailey fans:laugh3:, seriously I find it unbelievable.

Like Gary said, his voice is an acquired taste. You either love it or hate it. I love it, because he's no karaoke singer. He makes the song his own. :)

I actually agree that his voice can strain a bit sometimes, but then who hasn't this series? But generally I would say Luke has outperformed his other two finalists and yet all because they are not Rockers they get voted through on average to poor performances most weeks compared to Luke delivering some very good performances throughout the series, especially when he did Skinny Love and I Will Wait and he still got the 2nd least votes that week.

Shouting isn't much of an opinion though as his volume doesn't really go so high that it can be classed as shouting.

I like Luke, because he can take a song and turn it upside down. Like he did with What makes you beautiful. His voice is not the best one, but i like the dirtiness in it. If that makes sense. :hugesmile:

I get what you mean Vanessa lol, Imo on pure vocals Hannah had the best voice this series, but what I like about Luke is that he does the type of Music that I like, he has a decent voice, and he has a cool attitude to the whole affair and not constantly crying and throwing sob stories at us every 5 seconds.

It depends. He never strains when he's singing his style of songs. Only when he's out of his comfort zone. Skinny Love is amazing.

Actually a good thing to note, after all look at Nicholas as well since his out of his Funeral song state, he can't remotely sing away from it which is the fault of the themes imo.
