Nicole sounded great, but exposed Sam as being mediocre.

True, also Nicholas had his little sister as a vote, and Sam had her kids & gran. Whilst they both sang to them, Luke only had his father as a vote which was not strong enough :/

I do not know if luke's mums around or even alive but I knew it was game over when his dad and older siblings were in vt. Little mix only had their mums there dads left at home (dads don't get votes, mums and even better grans do)

Their voices randomly go together very well... if (when :p ) Luke does make it as an act in his own right, I wouldn't be surprised to see them release a one-off duet single.

Nicole and Sam... ... Nicole is clearly miles out of Sam's league as a "power singer" and she deliberately completely dominated that song. I forget that Sam was even on the stage. Although when I say "deliberately" - I think it's more that she can't help herself... it's not in her nature to step back and let someone else take the limelight (just look at her in Pussycat Dolls, or even on the judging panel). She's a show-off. But then, you don't get to be where Nicole Sherzinger is without being a show-off, so I guess that's to be expected.

Sam and Nicole was a shout off not a sing pff but who can screech and shout the loudest! For me Nick and Shanes was the best but a very close 2nd was Luke and Ellie.
