View Full Version : Best City in the UK
What is the best City that you have gone to not including the city you live in
I would say that London is amazing/also Nottingham is pretty nice.
Hmmm can I say Glasgow? It's where I live as a student but I'm not from there. Brilliant place to live, I'd love to live there permanently.

Get out.
Bristol, Brighton and Edinburgh are probably the best ones. London is okay, I wouldn't ever live back there though.
Exeter is also lovely during the summer but during winter it is so slow and void of anything.
Is Birmingham nice? I've never been there but I have been told it's a ****hole

Edinburgh is the most beautiful and London is the best. I'm very predictable when it comes to choosing the best city in any country though because I'll always prefer the biggest one.

I can't believe all this Edinburgh praise, I find it so depressing! I've been there countless times, it smells weird to me

I love Edinburgh, but mind you I have never lived there unlike Brighton, Bristol, Exeter, London and Aberdeen (lord don't remind me).

That's such a dated opinion and usually only ever said by people who've never been; or not been for a long time. It's especially lovely at Christmas time with the German market. The new library is phenomenal, Broad Street is a great night out. The canals are lovely and the Bullring's brilliant.

Oh no, don't worry. I wouldn't take offence or anything like that. Realise I probably came off a bit defensive there, haha.
Just wish people'd give it a try 'cause it's such a good place to visit.
Hull
It has culture (so they say)
