I'm having a party with friends the night before because they have to get flights the next day :laugh: so the actual night, probably nothing
Going to mates house there's about 20 going
I think two of my friends are hosting a flat party, I won't be able to drink so I'll be on the soft drinks - might do lifts if I'm allowed to have the car

Nothing. Dave works Hogmanay and I stay at home with the kids.. They stay up until the bells and I have a glass of bubbly and they get a wee wine glass of milk.. Last year the thee of us and Samuels teddy BooBoo all linked hands and sang Auld Lang Syne... Then they go to bed and I wait up for Dave coming home, we have a drink each then go to bed. Rock n Roll!

Probably going round my friends house for a party, we're not set in stone yet but it will probably be discussed at our present swapping party. :laugh:

As the hubby is off or this New Year's Eve..I am hoping we go up to one of the banks and watch the fireworks going off al over Yorkshire.

New Year is such a crap non-event, it's up there with "the clocks have gone forward!!!!", "the clocks have gone back!!!!" and Halloween in my list of things everyone else gets in a flap over that I don't care about. I'm going to the party because it's a party, but I would also go to it if it was on the 1st of January or the 30th of December; if I'm spending it at home we usually just watch a DVD instead of any of the stuff on TV. Get sick of watching Jackie Bird getting wheeled out of cryogenic freezing to do the countdown every year.

No idea we are saying we are going out but thats just it atm just talk. Usually I just stop in and have my own kinda party so i hope we are going out this year. Be a nice start to the new year

Although it's possible I will likely have a small few friends and/or family with me too.
I don't really like New Years eve that much and I wouldn't bother going out,cannot stand having to shout for drinks or being unable to hear much of what anyone says.
Also hate being squashed just trying to move too.:joker:

We always go round to someones for a house party because it's not often we all get to see each other. There's about 15 of us who are close in our friend group from back home and we meet twice over the Christmas break. Once for the annual carvery and then for New Years at someones house.
Treated myself to a bottle of Grey Goose for this year. :dance:

..yeah, 'I carried a watermelon..'..haven't we all used that line before, it's one of my most used...it did work on my OH though..he has been my melonbaby for a very long time now...

I don't really like Hogmanay if I'm honest, it's just an excuse for people to get even more pissed than they normally do.
So we normally have a quiet one, watch some comedies on tv, see the bells in watch some more crap on tv/go online then go to bed.
I much prefer New Years Day, have a lovely meal with family then set off some sky lanterns for our loved ones that are no longer with us.
