How have you found the year, what would have done differently and how have you found yourself?

After a really, really bad two years, 2013 has been good for me. Couldn't have seen myself here two years ago, but I'm starting a great new job and feel great, so it's been remarkably good for me. How's it been for you, Ben?

Touch wood, nothing really bad has happened but then again nothing really great has happened. It's been just another year, I did move house but that wasn't particularly stressful and I'm probably happier where we are now. I started college and I've enjoyed myself, I'm glad that I left secondary school even though I miss it if you get me
You ben?

2013 was crap, but in some ways it was less crap than the other 20 years I've lived through so there's that, had some of the best moments of my life this year, but some of the hardest too.

Pretty shitty, failed my AS levels, fell out with a few friends and got rejected... but it's picking up now.

Glad to hear things have got better for you, Livia, good luck with the new job. Mine's been an odd year, came back middle of the year from New Zealand not really knowing what to do with myself, had some ill health but started a new job that I enjoy. But in the back of my head I keep remembering I turn 30 next year and I have become a bit of a grumpy old man at times, lol.

Ah, you'll be fine, you seem to have picked yourself back up and 2014 can only be a better year, well if you sort that weave out.

Hey, turning 30 is brilliant, considering the alternative! Hope next year is a good one for you.

I think it's just the initial build up to it that is worse than actually turning 30.
****e moments on par with ****e moments experienced in 2011 and 2012 but, all things considered, not as many as the last two years and also some really great high points that cancel them out - my trip to Estonia and Latvia in February, my holiday to Malta in September, some As at uni this semester... but then there's being assaulted (again) on my birthday (again) resulting in a perforated ear drum and I'm due to start counselling sessions over it in the new year, spending four months trying to get rid of scabies, having a viral illness, having glandular fever, having a cancer scare that turned out to be a cyst which then got infected and needs to be removed... you know, just the usual really.

Men are at their best in their 30s. You'll get to your birthday and wonder what all the fuss was about. Remember I told you so that you can say, Livia, you were right. I never get tired of hearing that.

I'm sure it won't be but I'm more than used to unfortunate "it could only happen to me" situations now so I don't think it'll bother me at all, as always

Getting a job was the main change in my life, so it's been a pretty good year, kinda an awakening. For a time I felt kinda directionless with my life, now I'm a lot more focused.
And I'm pretty sure 2014 is gonna be even better.

Well I have to say that this year has been awful for me. Three deaths. One nan, one auntie and a boy killed himself he was only the same age as me. Had been in the same school as him since infants school :(

It stated off SO good, my only real stress was exams, I really miss sept 2012-March 2013 :( Summer was absolutely dreadful though and now it's just meh there's nothing really to look forward to and I'm not enjoying college as much as I did last year

A bit crap. Highlights would be graduating from uni and meeting Caroline Flack and Gary Barlow(within five days of each other, which was insane).
But besides that, I have family stuff that was hard to handle(all fine now) and major trouble with trying to emigrate which I said I'd do this year for god knows how long. But hey hopefully next year.

The good: I got into my dream course at Uni and I'm on track to be doing what I want in life. I finally started applying to game shows (unsuccessfully so far) and came fourth in The Mole (goddammit Zee)
The bad: My long-term girlfriend broke up with me and started seeing a guy from her flat
The ugly: He is now, as far as I know, cheating on her.
Oh, and my twitch came back. But my hair looks better, so that sort of evens out.
I guess about a 7/10? Definitely room for improvement in 2014, if only I could afford Eurovision tickets.
