Yes.
Not so much now as when I was younger.
Been to places for the first time and knew what was what.
Quite weird really.

I get it all the time... It usually happens in my dreams. I see a place, and a few weeks later I'll be somewhere and I'll know where I am from my dream.

i get it i also see see things long before they happen but i only remember it a moment or two before so i can see whats coming next but just for that moment.
it isn't much good really except knowing what to suspect.

is de ja vue psychic ability in all of us where we see the future yet only a few actually can remember what they saw? hence the im sure i done this before or
do we live the same lives over and over again but each time we do things differently but now and then we do exactly the same thing and thats why we get de ja vue.
you decide. just 2 theories of mine.

I find it mostly happens in connection with a feeling I have in the dream: I have the exact same thoughts and response to a real life situation and it just spooks me out a little - it'll be something really specific and insignificant, too, like doing the shopping and bumping into someone, or it starting to rain when I'm listening to a certain song. Something like that.

I think it might be that we live the same lives over and over again out of two to explain my deja vu moment.

I once read déjà vu came about because of some problems between short term memory and long term memory but tbh I just skimmed the article it's probably b*llocks.

that would be a nice idea there's billions of different choices we make each day it would explain the odd moment matching.

I get it every so often. Nothing that's every really freaked me out though. Other people's experiences always sound way more interesting.

I get it a lot, that feeling that someone has said something before while a certain programme or song is playing...It only lasts a split second and it's nothing you can really put your finger on just seems a bit odd.

That short term/long term memory thing sound interesting.

Last time I experienced deja vu was when I was in the hospital, it was really peculiar, the nurse asked me if I wanted dinner and I said yes please, asked me what I wanted etc so I get a tray over, start eating my dinner (fish cakes, potatoes and peas) and then my mum said "you're managing to eat that then" and I was like wtf deja vu, yet I've never been in the hospital before other than to visit friends and when I was born which I obviously don't remember - I've never had hospital food before yet I had this really strong sense of deja vu, or that I'd dreamed this specific situation before... very odd.

I have a similar thing with driving past a field of daffodils on the right hand side on this hillside field; then one year when we were driving up to see my granny there was suddenly this field of daffodils that had never been there before and my mum said "oh they're new" and I looked up and it was exactly how I'd pictured it in my head. Bizarre.
