M&S turned its back on its core customer and tried to corner the younger market. I'm not sure younger people want to shop at M&S, there are so many other, better, brands for younger people. And while M&S have been trying to schmooze the young people, the older people, their core customer who has been sadly neglected, have gone elsewhere.

The one day thing must have been a marketing stunt, I was in there some day in the week and they had 30% off, with printed cards showing the original price and the price with 30% off so it clearly was never going to be a one day thing.
