It was an American beer called Miller Lite, It was okay. Kinda got nervous fearing that I would get super drunk (my god I'm sheltered) but only got a bit of a buzz. Didn't drink it in huge gulps.

Is this what drinking alcohol is like? I really don't know

(No I'm not drunk right now)

I think the thing with alcohol is that you should try the different types of alcohol to get a feel for what you might like. I have a friend who's never drank alcohol because he "hates the taste" - he's basing that on the one time he drank a tiny amount of champagne to celebrate something and has refused to drink anything else ever since. Champagne tastes nothing like beer, wine, vodka, gin, tequila, I could go on... Personally I wouldn't drink beer to get drunk, I'd have a beer with dinner on a summer's day or buy a pack of four beers if I was going round to a friend's to chill out for the evening to watch something on TV.

Culturally I think us in the UK have the worst relationship with alcohol, we are the crunks of Europe!
I hope you enjoyed your bevvy, nice to see people that can relax and enjoy themselves without having to get s**tfaced.
Believe me, it's harder than it looks for us

Yeah we're the drunk uncle that gets put to bed at 8pm for drinking too much . It's odd though, when I lived in Germany, people were CONSTANTLY drinking, it's just that it's such a non-event to German people that nobody is wasted or going out to clubs to let it all hang out - they just drink beer casually all the time and if they do go out to clubs, it's just to go dancing - the few occasions I went out to a night club in Germany, I never once saw anyone in the kind of state you see people in over here all the time.

When I was like 5, I mistakened one of my aunt's beers for apple juice, Forgot about that.

I also had a sip of beer a few months before hand.

I was at a bowling alley subbing for someone in a little amatuer bowling league, the management offered free drinks for all, so I just decided to have beer.

Your boasting about something irrelevant. imo you are quite uptight about the subject and if its not a religion thing you will end up trying/enjoying it out with some mates socialising when youre older.

I had friends who 'never drinked' before uni, theyve come back and now enjoy a night out with drinks. You dont have to get ridiculous.

I tried alcohol for the first time a month before I turned 21, in August. I tried many different things such as Baileys, Beer, Beer/7Up mixed, Beer/Cola mixed, Whiskey, Something called bitternut, Rosé. I wasn't able to swallow a mouthful of any of them, just barely had a taste and found them all too much for me. Then at the end of the week I finally managed to drink a full glass of something, which was this.
