All of this iCloud ****e is really pissing me off. I purchased a song an hour ago and then flicked over to the iTunes window about ten minutes ago to see that it was stuck at the processing file stage and wasn't doing anything. I could play the song but it wasn't finished downloading and it wasn't properly in my library, there was a downloading symbol next to it. So I close iTunes (a message pops up saying Quit/Don't Quit because it hadn't finished downloading) and now it's listed as a grey entry on my iTunes and that symbol saying Download from iCloud which doesn't actually give you an option to download it from iCloud...

My brother's iPhone downloads all music saved to the home computer network's iCloud account so he has my mum's music and my dad's music on his phone and it can't be removed, and my dad had a problem with iCloud where all his iMessages were being saved to the iPad so my mum could read his texts (i.e. me and my dad moaning about her when she was ignoring him for centuries on end) blah blah blah... it's a bloody nuisance and it's not really clear to me what it's for... Supposedly a service to back up all your data but that's naff all use when you can't then redownload your data from the back up!

Yeah I don't bother with iTunes anymore, too flaw-filled

Agreed, I use Amazon's mp3 service, so simple compared to iTunes' outdated systems.

Yeah, all my mum's texts were displaying on my brother's iPad and she hit the roof. (I didn't ask, I didn't look )

My apps take forever to update too when they hit a "processing file" stage which is a pain.

Never bothered with iCloud, keeping it simple

iTunes Store is a pain in the ass when you fancy a browse though, slow as **** and keeps freezing.

what i ******ing hate about itunes is that you cant choose an artist and then have all their songs in order by how you've rated them

you can only view the artist by each album they've released

I've deleted certain songs off my playlist that I have synced to my iPhone but they're still there on my phone and I've no idea why. I've checked all the playlists that are synced to my phone, that's not the issue... I think it's something to do with iCloud and purchased items. No idea how to fix it. Bloody irritating.

can't you just go on the store tab at the top of the page then click, check for available downloads?
