Celebrity Big Brother 2014 lineup: Sarah Harding denies she'll be a housemate!
Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding has very publicly rubbished rumours about her joining the Celebrity Big Brother 2014 line up.
The singer had been part of a list of ten supposedly ‘confirmed’ Celebrity housemates circulating on Twitter.
But when a fan of the group brought the rumours to her attention, Sarah tweeted: “errrr….ahahahahHaha!! what is this?… April *******in fools or Boxing Day?! Reaallly?!!! #bulls**t”
And she tweeted the peddler of the fake list: “my HP is a better ‘sauce’ than u matey! #p45″
It’s perhaps a good thing that Sarah won’t be entering the house, with CBB host Emma Willis saying she didn’t want to see big named stars like members of Girls Aloud – naming Sarah’s former bandmate Nadine Coyle – in the line up.
“With people like Nadine and your Lindsay Lohans, they’re so media trained that you’re never going to get anything from them,” Emma told us. “People go, ‘Oh My God, Nadine’s going in, we’re going to find out all about Girls Aloud’, but you’re not.”
Emma, who took over the main show from Brian Dowling in the summer, continued: “She’s not going to do that, she’s still a part of it, you don’t s**t where you eat, do you?”
As for which celebs actually could be part of next month’s live launch, the current rumour mill includes model Katie Price, Apprentice star and This Morning big mouth Katie Hopkins and model India Reynolds.
More names set to the new series are said to be former Strictly star Nancy Dell’Olio, N-Dubz singer Dappy, comedian Jim Davidson, TOIWE’s Sam Faiers and more recently, boxer Evander Holyfield and Neighbours actor Alan Fletcher.
Celebrity Big Brother 2014 starts on January 3 on Channel 5.
