Saw the thread about being unnattractive in a relationship and it kind of gave me the idea for this thread.
Are you vain? I don't think I am vain in the slightest I only look in the mirror briefly to wash/clean my teeth/dry my hair etc. I only wear make-up when im going out socialsing. On a normal day I will be in trackies with a hat on. Mind once my false teeth smashed and I was traumatised luckily I found an old pair, if I hadn't found those I wouldn't have left the house.

Hmm a bit vain in that I spend time in the morning making myself look a bit more presentable but I'm not bothered about having the body of an Adonis or anything so I dunno really.

D'you think? I guess I'd think someone was vain if I saw them looking in the mirror all the time, but not in comparison to someone who's down at the gym all the time purely to look good to other people or someone who goes out to bars just to be seen etc...

There's a difference between looking in the mirror because you love yourself and it makes you feel good and looking in the mirror because you're a bit insecure about the way you look

Yep, I'm vain I'm paranoid about my eyes looking small so wear lots of eye make-up.
I like to be thought of as pretty, not beautiful or sexy though.

hmm always thought I wasn't vain but I do have an obsession with my stomach which I see as huge. So I do go to exercise classes but not mainly for that but it helps that I think I might get a 6 pack (pmsl never in a million years but il keep trying) but I do it for myself not anyone else. I always think people don't look @ me or listen to me. Im terrible because I think they don't look or listen. I stare at people sometimes thinking they are not looking at me. I say stuff all the time thinking nobody is listening and they are lol

I always try to make myself look good before leaving the house but that's not vanity... I know I look like a total hound without make up.

everybody is vain. lets face it you dont wear make up comb your hair or dress ok for yourself as we dont see ourselves. thank god lol
its all for other people. just different degrees of being vain.

I take pride in my appearance but that's not vanity, if it became obsessive then I guess it would be but it's not so no I'm not vain.

I don't think I'm amazing looking but I do love looking at myself in the mirror at any given opportunity, I always film myself and take selfies at any given opportunity.

..probably averagely vain, I don't really fuss over how I look but I take care in how I look and always wear smart clothes to work...I prefer to wear contact lenses to wearing glasses and that's probably vanity but I wouldn't really say that I spend lots of time thinking about my appearance or looking in mirrors etc...most people are vain to some extent or over some things...
