Surely those cannot be worldwide figures? If so then this year has been piss poor for female solo album sales.

Nope. Just pointing out at how hard she's fell, being beaten by someone who usually gets called a singles artist and released the album in 2012

You do realise your comparing an album thats been out for 13 months to an album that's been out for 6 weeks?

Well considering that one was released last year and one was released last month, I'd give it a bit more time until you write it off

Rihanna sold 1.561 million copies with Unapologetic worldwide in four weeks :)

so she only sold 200k more even though she had the biggest single of the year

you're not really proving your point

I'm sure that Artpop will shift another 500k or so in the same time period, lets make the comparison then. Or make the comparison when the lead single is something which she wrote..

Exactly, it's ridiculous. The fact that it sold 1.5 million in its first five weeks and sold 400k over the next 11 months doesn't exactly show off consistency

It sold 1.5m in 2012 (was released like 6 weeks before 2013) and then sold 1.9 million this year, so about 3 and a half million overall

Why are you all bitching??? If these are worldwide sales they all need to rethink themselves, they are ****E

Jake.

Tbh I'd say that making the top ten after a month of sales is decent enough, well done to all of them but generally nothing is amazing, Beyoncé has done well thougb

Yes, she's been incredibly successful in the past, bu can't match that success at all now and is one of the least successful pop females. Gaga is over.

ofc she is that's why her tour is selling out all over the US

suppose her fans are too busy spending their dolla on $100 tickets over a $12 album

Two songs within the top 20 of billboard top 100 (one have which has been there for 19 weeks I think) says otherwise, far from over. She's doing fine, and Artpop will sell fine

Lmao don't try and convince anyone Gaga's fanbase has a lot of money when a large proportion of her album sales were down to discounts and little monsters prostituting themselves

Would never have thought P!nk would be the best selling. She's had such a successful career yet she never seems to be appreciated

I can vouch for this, I'm having sex right now in the exchange for 15 Artpop copies being brought from Asda tomorrow
