I feel as if after Aaron minus maybe Denise (eventhough she wasnt my favorite) no one who really deserves to win has won since channel 5. I think it was an abslutely travesty that Gina, Hazel or Dexter didn't win Secrets and Lies when they both carried the series or Deana didnt win bb13 or Speidi didnt win cbb11.

I would rather BB just fixed the results than people like sam or luke win.

I didnt actually like/dislike aaron just in case you think I am one of those aaron crazy fans who didnt see his passive agressive nature but I didnt feel cheated when he won I felt like he deserved to win not like people on suprise suprise deserve to get a treat but deserved it as in he had done something to entertain and make you think you know. Luke A wasnt a bad winner really but Sam was worse simply because Sam won against two better people who most people would agree carried that series and some will even say are the best housemates C5 era.

How could they prove how much they liked their fans? Will Aaron, Speidi or Deana reach out to everyone that voted for them on social media? How would they know who voted for them or who their supporters are? You have to actively go out and tweet them and you most likely will get a reply this is not c4 era where all of these past winners are in the media, the winners themselves have been forgotten about and bought to the cleaners actually. Will an Aaron type ever win again? Sadly no. Especially if it remains vote to evict. Vote to save kept him in from week 1, if it was vote to evict he'd been out over that annoying girl who went first. There is barely any contestant on any reality TV show in existence that could be described as 'human garbage', terms like that are restricted to rapists, murderers, child abusers...you know, the usual abhorrent stuff.

At a stretch you could maybe include *******s like Dennis and Jack Tweed but some people that argued a bit or manipulated people? I mean really? Terms like those are definitely limited, anyone that sees differently lives a very hateful, close minded life and it's saddening how anyone could so conjure up so much hate towards people they have never even met. Well like I said, given that I'm posting on a reality TV forum almost all of my posts are narrowed to focus on reality TV. Perhaps I'm a bit too OTT, perhaps you're a bit too serious, tomato tomato.

Back to Aaron's personality, though, what was it even? It seems that half of his fanbase praises him for being ~the greatest gameplayer ever~ (even though Nick and Victor each happened twice) and half praises him for being so rull and vulnerable. He's somehow simultaneously a rogue and a martyr and those seem rather mutually exclusive to me? And then the real kicker is actions that can't be explained by either side. Sabotaging each and every task and then sabotaging the shopping when that doesn't work can only be explained by attention-seeking pettiness to me, not intricate gameplaying or having a lot of feelings. Dude's a brat. And I think it's a rather bold statement to say that the public picked Aaron when FB voting was a thing and allowed the forum fringe group to be the vocal minority with way too much control. Not to say I wish we had it for Deana and Gina wins, but it's a point worth mentioning.

Will an Aaron type ever win again? Sadly no. Especially if it remains vote to evict. Vote to save kept him in from week 1, if it was vote to evict he'd been out over that annoying girl who went first. Anyone with an iota of intelligence, who isn't a chav and doesn't thinking talking about poo or weeing the bed is hilarious is doomed. The likes of CBB Charlotte, BB11 Jay and Alex will win now.

More complex intriguing anti hero characters like Gina and Dexter (who aren't white middle of the road types) at best will get big cult fan bases to keep them in but ultimately will loose in final to bland innocuous drama free excruciatingly dullards like Sam who win by virtue of doing nothing and being white* and appealling to the unimaginative casual voters and the voters who like nicey wiceys too win.

I agree with most of what you are saying except the race part it has nothing to do with that, agree that vote to evict needs to go but it too can be unpredictable sometimes boring people stay and what if three good people go up then its just as bad as vote to evict. Like week one secrets and lies either sallie, gina or dexter were going to go and to me they were all crucial housemates. I think week one needs to be a vote the bore out week.

In this context it irks me because of how damn moralistic Aaron is all the time. Like I said, everything is an awful production about how offended Aaron is and it's about his sense of decorum (which is only applied when it benefits him) and those are just pretty gross traits I can't support. This whole series of events captures it best for me, really:

-the events of the toy task (sabotaging it because it'd just be that hilarious, and then when that fails order a shopping budget of like, bananas and frosted flakes and food coloring)
-after Anton saves Faye from the task room in that other task, Aaron tries to organize yet another task sabotage for no reason. After Jay and Anton had long physical tasks and Louise drank cow piss and Jay and Louise did nothing to Aaron whatsoever
-Aaron thrives in the task being failed even though you know he'd throw a FIT if anyone pulled the same **** on him
-and then if that's not enough arrogance and entitlement for one plot, there's a big food fight and Aaron decides to apply his hazy, no rhyme or reason moral outrage because all the frosted flakes were wasted and the house is trash. Who possibly could've expected food to be wasted when you create a situation in which food is seen as disposable? Who possibly could've seen that one?

so yeah, none of that's entertaining to me in the slightest but I'll wait to be told that I don't know entertainment or that I'm watching the show wrong or the classic "well at least Aaron did something" when that something was ruin a series.

I am not oblivious to his flaws but yes I found him entertaining and that whole series brilliant. Keep in mind it was the first one I actually watched most of so it was fresh to me.

Vote to evict returns the prospect of the Sam and Rachel Rice-type bores getting to the final. Hide under the bed all summer and assure yourself of a place in the final. I feel as if after Aaron minus maybe Denise (eventhough she wasnt my favorite) no one who really deserves to win has won since channel 5. I think it was an abslutely travesty that Gina, Hazel or Dexter didn't win Secrets and Lies when they both carried the series or Deana didnt win bb13 or Speidi didnt win cbb11.

I havent seen 5,6,7 seems I am in for a treat as it would seem that was the best run of three out of all of the series. I started really watching at bb12 and a few snippets of bb9 and 10. And I hardly watched bb13 so I have only watched really bb12 and bb14 secrets and lies
