Matt Cardle has reportedly checked into rehab for an addiction to prescription drugs.
The former X Factor winner was admitted to The Priory Clinic yesterday (December 29) for addictions to prescription drugs temazepam and Valium, according to The Sun.
The singer is said to have enrolled in a 28-day programme so he can be well enough to tour in April.
The singer recently announced 18 headline dates across the UK and Ireland in support of his new studio album Porcelain.
Earlier this year, former Spice Girl Mel C was forced to deny rumours that she was in a relationship with Cardle, after the pair starred in a steamy video together for their track 'Loving You'.
"Matt is gorgeous and he's not a bad on-screen boyfriend to have, but we're just mates," she said.
