2009 was a great year for music. 2013 had no substance, stand out moments (bar beyonce) whatsoever

Music's not gone to ****; it's just that the music industry has geared itself towards the mainstream in a lowest common denominator way. What you see in the charts might be crap in comparison to decades gone by; but plenty of great music is still out there, you just need to be more active in looking for it, rather than relying on the radio to present good stuff to you.

He was banned for about two years, I believe Tom was 11 when they found out he was underage, in 2011 iirc, possibly 2010?
