Contributing articles about Celebrity Big Brother for the TiBB frontpage

Does anyone want to contribute new articles about Celebrity Big Brother for the TiBB frontpage - http://www.thisisbigbrother.com (yes I know, I'll try and improve the look of it at some stage). I haven't had time to add any more articles recently.

You can add an article by going to the Quick Links menu (top-right of page) and then 'Post New CelebBB2014 Frontpage Article'. I will put more instructions in the next post.

You know how people have been asking if it is possible to join the staff become a mod? Anyone that helps out with site by doing something like this will be (and have in the past been) looked on favourably when it comes to deciding things like that.

Here is more information on how to post articles for the TiBB frontpage at http://www.thisisbigbrother.com Anyone can contribute. If anything doesn't work right let me know.


Quick instructions:

1. Go to Quick Links Menu (top of page) - Post New CelebBB2014 Frontpage Article.

2. Type your article like it was a new thread and click Submit.

3. Sit back and wait for article approval.

4. Done.

It has the following features:


Articles only visible on the homepage and to you in forum (saves confusion about two forum threads with same topic).

Related Thread - Option to select an existing thread from the forum which has the same topic. A notification post will be made in the thread about your article and comments for the article on the homepage will appear from this thread.

Save Draft - You can now save draft articles which are not immediately published. You can use this to create a placeholder story which you can re-visit and edit.

All the other usual forum features.

Here's how to use it.

In the Quick Links menu at the top of the forum select Post Frontpage article.

You will be presented with a page similar to posting a new thread. Simply post a thread in the normal way with a subject and message.

To select a related thread (thread on the forum which is about the same subject) click 'Select new forum thread'. This is optional though, if you don't select a thread a new notification thread will be posted on the forum. Mods can merge that with another topic if need be so don't worry.

And to Save a draft article click 'Save Article as Draft (Don't publish to frontpage)'

Click Submit New Thread as usual and wait for the article to be approved. (we'll give reporter status to users also so they can post articles without waiting for approval).

Guidelines for articles are:


Don't copy articles from fansites.
You can quote excerpts from news sites.
Original content is best.

I have actually seriously thought before we could have sections for doing articles about Music say, or film reviews or things like that.

Yes, that would be amazing if we have a Film/TV Show/Music/Sport/Video Game review section.. i always feel like doing a big write up about films in the last film you watched thread but people wouldn't be bothered to read it and i like reading reviews about films and TV Shows and i know other members do reviews a lot so it would be good to have that feature on here
