I thought it was less gimckey (In that it was more calm, no backing music all of the time and only a few jingles here and there). I like the new chandelier things hat are dangling off the eye stage aswell! It's really improved.

I honestly felt really bored eventually, I was only half paying attention by the end. The silly handcuff thing took away any momentum with the entrances too.

It has no bearing on how good the series will be, in the past I've enjoyed launch nights and found the rest not so good, so there's still hope, but I wasn't exactly enthralled last night.

Big Brother shat all over Imaceleb launch and I know it will **** all over it series wise. Im a celeb is even more repetitive than Big Brother and the highlight of last series was what contraband give me a break! I have no idea how ITV have done it maybe the pre exsisting audience they have. Image an X Factor style show on Channel 5 no one would watch it

BB14 however was an amazing series overall.

I dont think people have any reservation of saying how **** a series is me included! BB14 was not as good compared to bb13/12 in my opinion. Depends on the person. I dont believe bb14 was all that great doesnt mean people were exaggerating from their point of view just like people seem to hate on bb12 and that was the first on C5 when people should have been trying to convince themselves it was good not 9 series in.

Like I said below funnily enough you've said the same if it **** no one here has any reservatins. I personally think bb14 launch was brillaint and it went downhill from there, no reservations in saying cbb12 launch night was PISS POOR.

I didn't love the launch, and I gave up with BB14 (the cringy "QUEEN GINA QUEEENA FLAWLESS XOXO" stuff was too much), but it's not beyond comprehension that others might actually feel differently.
