I feel bad for him, his father was to blame for him hating how he looked, apparently he used to say Michael's skin was too dark and his nose was too big and ugly :(

It is interesting.
You find out the truth about stuff I suppose.
He had a tragic, misunderstood life I think. I hope that he will remembered for his musical legacy rather than the media circus that plagued his final years... can't believe he's been gone for so long already. I feel like he was before my time (I was born in 1991) even if that wasn't necessarily the case so I've never really felt much for his music beyond his most famous hits but he was a phenomenally talented man, the King of pop for sure.

His dad was a tyrant apparently he did used to tell him his nose was too big,I loved his music he was a great entertainer so sad the way his life went, still cant believe he's gone, feel really sad watching this.

Had heard a lot of this before and always felt he was misunderstood and hounded for the majority of his life.
But it's nice to hear it officially.
So so sad though. Always was a fan.

Tbh this was no doubt a daily thing, Michael was literally a walking bag of drugs during the last years of his life

It was all down to his choice Kaz..you can't help someone unless they want it.
Sad waste of a very talented life.
I don't think the doctor was guilty at all

I know smudgie, the program has been interesting found out more than I ever knew about him ,I do think that fire to his head started his decline, and his doctor should have known better.

Did you watch his rehearsal show over Christmas, the difference once he had all those stimulants, you would never guess he was as old as he was.

shocking that, nope wont watch things like that. the way they kept advertising it was shocking no respect at all. it was like let cut him open and reveal the sordid truths .its celebrity culture at its worst. it got me thinking what if that was someone i really liked or knew and they are advertising it in that way.
disgusting. nothing more than animals

I do feel sorry for the doctor.
Although; having studied law for a little bit, he did have a duty of care as a doctor and failed to provide that. No matter how much MJ asked, he should not have given it him.

didn't want to watch it because I knew I wouldn't be able to handle it, so I am watching a documentary on a 12 year old that will have to send his life in jail for killing his friends alcoholic stepfather. Much more cheerier. :D

There was,its a shame he couldn't have just took off to some paradise island for a few months ,but the press would never leave him alone wherever he was.Hope he's in heaven singing when I get up there,
..I still find it a bit 'wow' when they say '50yrs old', because I still somehow always think of him as someone very young and childlike and almost not an adult at all...really weird...

I really want them to do a DNA test to see if any of his kids are actually his biological kids. I don't believe for 1 second that any of those kids have any of his DNA in them.

Me too, they don't look like any of the Jacksons and darker skin is more dominant to white skin. They look Italian to me, but I am not an expert. The only other thing I can think of is that they were genetically engineered, he could surely afford it but who knows if the technology was available back then.

the cry of his voice in this song still gets me, i don't think we can ever understand another person's life, but the cry of his voice during the chorus is awesome. He was a great artist and musician.

How is it glib? the guy is dead, how long do you expect people to wait before a real investigation is carried out. Do you feel the same about Jimmy Saville?
You seem like a MJ sycophant. His body is rotting in the ground, stop acting so precious about him.

Stating the obvious is rather glib, I'm aware he's dead.
I feel parading his cadaver via the media for celeb vultures to pick at distasteful is all.
There has been a full coroners report for those who want to know the facts without the sideshow element.

Are you aware it began as a serious social experiment though alex?
Being a fan of certain aspects of reality television doesn't mean you automatically relish the thought of 'celeb on a slab' however.

No it didn't, it began as an entertainment show, bought from the Dutch because it got high ratings in Holland. There were absolutely no scientists involved in the creation of Big Brother, there's nothing SCIENTIFIC about it. C4 did not buy the rights because they wanted to do a "serious social experiment". They bought the rights to do it because they thought it would be popular.

I stand by what I said, the format as it stands is entertainment the concept was sociological.
The thread is moving off topic, I don't agree with televised celebrity autopsies.
