He listened to some of the insults Linda was throwing his way then he calmly and politely walked away, while Linda still wanted to slate him some more...never feed the trolls, and he didn't...well done Jim.
He came out of that looking good, if not a little confused lol....I bet BBBOTS still slag him off tonight.
I don't get what the issue was with him - I could tell easily that he didn't mean to be offensive when he sang "**** off" at Jasmine. That could MAYBE SORTA KINDA be interpreted as a translatiion issue I guess...
Linda was just being a bitch though and was clearly spoiling for an argument.
Cracks are starting to show.....!

Lynda wants to play the victim and she thinks Jim is the target to get her further in the show .He came through a very public and testing time regarding the sexual historic allegations made about him. He is not in any way going to let Nolan take him out on national telly. If he has learned anything it's to walk away
Actually - **** Linda, because Jim was a little bit drunk tonight, and she knew that - having said right in the first few seconds of them being put together that he was an arsehole when he was drunk, and yet despite that she tried to gaul a reaction out of him.
Jim did bloody well.
I thought he did well too... Although I do think he was a bit baffled by it all! (As was I)
He did well to just walk away.
I don't like the way Linda tried to turn the others in the bedroom against him, I'm glad Sam and Ollie just listened without saying much.

Well Coleen was always playing the victim in her series,I was stunned at Linda tonight,it seemed to come from nowhere.
This is the problem when we don't see all in the full context but I agree Jim did good.
If they gave out medals for dealing with sheer uncalled for ignorance then Jim warrants one for the way he dealt with Linda and the others tonight certainly.

As it stands, if we ignored what we "know" about Jim on the outside, he is doing a pretty good job in there, I know its early days and plenty time for him to fall off the fence but just for now I like him and I never thought I would say that.

Considering some of the pond life he's in there with, I wouldn't be surprised if he comes out of this with a much better public image!

Yeah totally! I was completely opposed to him on launch night but really he's been a gentleman for most of it so far. Sure, he kind of sticks to the lads but he's really coming across as a pretty decent bloke so far

it seems the nolan is trying to make that happen.
i'd be surprised if he can contain what he thinks much longer.

Can anyone name another Nolans song apart from that bloody awful I'm in the Mood for Dancing? It must be the longest period of dining out, for the most people, off the back of the most rubbish record ever.

I knew little about them except for the awful Colleen on Loose Women and then while Colleen was in CBB, seeing Linda being really vile on bbbots.
I found a CD in a shop and bought it,(it was only 99p), played it and found not a single thing to my liking and I hate 'I'm in the mood for dancing' with a passion.

Yes, Linda went in there with an opinion of Jim & despite him being quite pleasant to her, she still hates on him. Then to make it worse she gathered all the women together to more or less tell them to hate him too, evil witch! Hardly surprising though as she is related to that other sour faced bitch Colleen...

I was annoyed she 'summoned' him to her bed with all her minions about, if she had a problem she could have had a quiet word not involve the whole house!

..yep, he's an odious man and he makes my skin crawl just looking at him...I try to just 'judge' housemates on their time in the house and with celebrities a lot of media stuff is just exaggerated anyway but there are some things that I cannot overlook and laying his hands on a female in an aggressive way is most definitely one of them...

I have to say, he did,in my view, 100% absolutely the best thing to just walk away.
To challenge or delve more into what she was saying with the others then would have given her a platform to spout more of her dislike of him.
She has been playing very falsely from the start until now if she is now turning on him like that, no one warrants public humiliation when they haven't doen anything really wrong.
I would have certainly just walked away from her bringing something up out of the blue like that, they maybe don't like each other and that's fair enough but you don't gather people round and go on about Jim's upset me and all that nonsense the way she did last night.
For me, he was in fact the much bigger person last night by just walking away from them and saying very little, thereby avoiding at that point escalating the issue.
He gets full credit from me for doing that,
It actually made her look completely ridiculous and petty and deservedly so in my view. Just like her miserable Sister Colleen before her in her series it seems Linda is going to want to play the victim role a lot of the time,I just hope Jim continues to keep walking away from her and let her stew in her own juice of hate.
I wonder though if he walked away because he was being the bigger man or because he was scared of lashing out

Yeah I mean without being insulting to the other housemates, he's probably one of the more intelligent people in there, more media savvy than most, he's got a lot to prove by being in here because of all the scandals in his career so I think he walked away so he didn't erupt and show his nasty side... I think Linda's making herself look bad by trying to openly provoke him because I think he'll do it eventually anyway, he's not going to crack on day 3/4, but after a week? Could be a different story...

Linda has done herself no favours by inventing this hatred against Jim for no reason other than an inherent hatred of him from years back when he made a fool of her or upset her badly. She is a vindictive woman to hold a grudge that long and deceptive in the extreme to cosy up to him as if bygones were bygones whilst they were handcuffed together.
Now she can hide from him, she is now jealous at his popularity over hers and she is targeting him with stealth meetings and her efforts will backfire.
Don't these numpties realise that everything they say and do is recorded, daft beggar she is. She is inadvertently turning Jim into an interesting character by affording him the luxury of acting well in the face of adversity which makes him look good and her like and evil witch.

All the Nolans and indeed some of these grumpy old women on loose women like Denise seem to be cut from the same cloth. They are all man haters and campaigners for women's rights, but in reality, they are female versions of my hero, VICTOR MELDREW.
Denise was at least a bit funny. Linda has perfected the skill of grumpiness so well, her face has taken the shape of as bulldog chewing a wasp and its little wonder her recent life was dependant on benfits. She reminds me of a posh curtain twitcher.
What I don't get is if she had a problem with Jim from the start and before the house, then why stay handcuffed to him when she never had to? After all, didn't she use the excuse that Dappy and Liz looked uncomfortable together? I think it is all excuses, excuses from Linda, and I'm no Jim fan.

I think if Linda keeps gunning for him he'll eventually snap; you could keep your cool if you weren't being provoked but she's clearly not going to let him keep quiet so I wouldn't be shocked if he eventually snaps at her. Still think she's made herself look stupid by doing it though.

I am quite liking Linda but she did herself no favours and Jim handled the situation well.
When Jim walked into the bedroom it was the little stirrer Luisa blurted out 'Lindas upset with you'....however Linda should have talked privately in a mature way insted of letting everyone witness it...it wa uncomfortable viewing and Jim did the right thing.
Linda lost respect there...

..yeah, I won't disagree that he did the right thing in that situation but that was nothing, kind of no big deal at all...I usually don't judge on anything other than what's in the BB house and I never did with Denise when she got lots of 'hate' about her past, it was just her behaviour in the house...I know lots of females personally who have and would 'stand by their man' no matter what he has done to them and some of the things have been extremely brutal and psychologically manipulative...I don't know, maybe I'm wrong to feel this but there are some things that I just personally find impossible to overlook in someone's character....

I think you are totally right, she has likely even had probably an agenda to get him to do that once she knew for sure he was going in.
After all she said in her vt that she hopes Jim Davidson wasn't in the house.
I was actually really warming to her, I was surprised at that as I don't really care for her.
However now if she is setting out to do that to him, then for me, even if he does end up blowing his top, that will say everything about her and nothing about him.
I hope he keeps right away from her.
Last night was a total mystery to me as to her attitude and the pathetic way she made sure all the others got involved that she had round her at the time and heard her daft excuse for making any kind of scene.

Odd really but he came out of it looking much better, good on him for walking away.
