........has hit an all time low I feel.
It's a sad state of affairs when you start to feel sorry for Jim 'BNP' Davidson and Evander 'bible belt' Holyfield for getting themselves stuck in there.
I'm enjoying it Ian, I know there's not a lot of likeable housemates in there but I think it's still been a great start to a series.

Agree Josy, they're not a very inspiring bunch but it's been really entertaining.

I agree but then I also think that's interesting, we've got a really dislikeable bunch so it'll be interesting to see how the series unfolds!
Its been a really weird series

OK Jose - I'll try harder to like it based on your recommendation!
I was dismayed to see they're having another 'secret room' - FGS, that 'twist' would only be a big surprise to Evander who hasn't a clue what's going on!
I think because this series is full of so many loathsome housemates, people are more likely to change their minds about who their favourites are throughout, rather than picking one at the beginning and sticking with them until they leave. It's happening already.

That strikes a chord with me, and probably why my OP mentioned feeling sorry for 2 dinosaurs who I'd normally love to loathe for their mindsets.
Lostie!

I'll probably switch off eventually. It just feels flat for me. I mean, I enjoyed last CBB more, and I eventually stopped watching that one because I found Charlotte so tedious.

Am I the only one who finds them all very likeable?

I would certainly borrow Evaner's bible and pray that you are alone in that Chuck

I like - Luisa, Liz, Evander, Sam, Ollie, Lionel and Casey
I dislike - Lee, Dappy, Jim, Linda and Jasmine
So I like 7 and dislike 5 so I like more than i dislike, surprisingly

I don't like all the bodily function talk, they are adults and speak like 15 year olds.

It's really hard to find someone you want to root for.

It's weird isn't it? I think it's actually one of the more effective series we've had in a long time, we the viewers aren't having our expectations confirmed, we're actually having to reconsider them. Excited to see what else happens in this series, I couldn't possibly pick the winner at this stage but I've a feeling it'll be the Rachel Rice effect and we'll get the least offensive winner out of a really offensive bunch, possibly Ollie or Sam.

I've missed all of the episodes because I keep falling asleep before they air  but I caught up with up to Monday's show this afternoon and it's all ridiculously trashy and not remotely interesting to me. I don't like one housemate (except Ollie, whose diary room sobbing was a bit stupid, and Lionel, who's barely featuring). And they are going hard as hell for the sex stories this year, and it wouldn't surprise me if it were all staged.
Just generally bored with the show trying to make stories rather than follow them.

It's one of the best starts to a CBB series there's ever been and if it continues this way it'll go down as the best CBB series of all time. It's very promising, the casting team seem to have done a good job this year.
It feels more like a old school civilian series if anything, they really don't seem to care about their reputations or careers at all in there, it's great.
Also unlikeable casts make for the best series. BB6 was full of disgusting people but it's still arguably the best series of Big Brother there's ever been. We're not living or being friends with these people, we're merely watching to be entertained. If the house was full of the people I like to associate myself with, it'd be pretty dull. I guess it's a bit like if you find yourself listening to an argument between some strangers when you're out, you don't want to be a part of it but you sure as hell find it somewhat entertaining/amusing for that short period

The start was good but it's already tailing off. Stupid sex talk for kids to giggle over, silly pointless alien task for kids.
The 'political' side of people's views shouldn't really dominate the show, but the producers ever since Jade have emphasised that aspect to generate some kind of controversy. I'm just more interested in how they get on together, the original BB idea, not about stuff external to the program.
