How would you feel if a prison that holds over 2000 inmates was built in your area.

How close to you? There are about 5 prisons within 30 minutes of me, one being Strangeways. I don't really think about it....

Well about 15 minutes away from where I live. I don't care about the prison. But the inmates. Wrexham will be filled with ex cons.

that's the ting/ A lot of them want to have their shawshank redemption moment. And god forbid they ever escape the nearest houses would be the ones they pass by or possibly stop by :( I would be uncomfortable
I'd be delighted, hotels are always welcome here ;)

I work in recruitment and work with a Cat B prison and they needed some secretarial work done and we had no-one available so I went and did it. I had to type up some reports about a prison break out...It was really interesting...

....I don't know, I think if they wanted their Shawshank moment, they would probably want to go somewhere a bit better than my house but I will stock up on tea and coffee just in case..:amazed:...

There's one reasonably close to me already so I wouldn't really care. There are worse people in society than in prisons tbh.

Those guys were in the 60s where it was probably much easier to escape without the technology we have now Lol you can probably GPS track prisoners these days
