Personally i think this CBB has started very well,It's one of the better ones so far,Just hope we're not left with Lionel,Ollie,Sam and Evander borefest toward the end.This series has potential if it stays as strong as it's started,I think VTS will be very good for this series hopefully!

..yeah, it's not that it doesn't need the drama etc and to cause controversy and 'shock' to some extent, it's just that there is no balance to it and I think there has to be that in everything otherwise it all becomes same old, same old and just burns itself out...and I know it's the same old thing but I do think it's because of the lack of livefeed which used to give us 'the normal bits' and the normal conversations etc...the rest of it is probably no different to what it always was but it just seems more and very much one thing because that's all we're shown...

I do appreciate what you are saying VS, and tbf the showmances are getting very irksome, I don't even know why the HMs go for them because no one involved in a showmance has ever won. :conf: I guess they just can't resist the camera time? Having said that BB has had to move on, with the number of other reality shows it couldn't stay true to the original format and we do get glimpses every now again.

Im getting bored now of this Big Brother because of this reason, but its getting ratings. A lot of people said BB14 was 'back to its roots' but I think it went further away from it roots to become the worst civilian Big Brother for this reason. Good points you make, but if the will is still there with the producers it is still possible to find genuine civilian's who are normal people but have interesting personalities (not fame hungry/glamour model wannabe's) remember Anthony? the guy that lost out to annoying Becky a couple of summer BB's ago, he is the kind of HM im talking about, the gems are there but BB keep picking the tossers instead.

bb will never go back to its "Roots" because society and the world has changed. what is important to people especially the younger generation, how people interact with each other and what sells and what brings fame. not just for bb but for the entire media market as a whole.
