Anyway, I don't see why it's any less valid than "I've not really spoken to them". At least it was based on something other than not really knowing people.

Definetly a valid reason IMO, and it was genuine because she feels strongly about animals. I don't really think it matters what the reason is as long as its genuine. I hate all this fake "oh I really like him, but..." Nonsense.

yeah, I agree. If she wasn't genuinely an animal lover and really believe that herself I'd say no but she clearly does believe it so that makes it valid

no one can prove or disprove animals have souls. for that matter, no one can prove we as humans do or do not either. that's why people adopt faith because in the absence of fact or science to prove or disprove something faith is all you are left with.

liz is an odd one but all power to her, she believes what she believes and anyone that wants to ridicule her should be ashamed. poor woman
