Missed the first half hour but a 7/10, some great auditions & Emma and Marvin > Holly and Reggie

I gave it an 8/10.

Great first episode, the acts who got through all had something going for them vocal wise or they had personality to make up for it, Emma is great, and Ricky and Kylie bring a new dynamic the show has needed, it was stale towards the end of series 2, hope they revitialise it.

I've put 10 but straightaway I wish I'd put 9, only because of the couple of sob stories we got. Yawn.

Apart from that it was flawless.

It was good I gave it 7, far too much chatter and we don't really need the sob stories.

I miss Danny more than Jessie but Kylie and Ricky are really good replacements and also Emma was really good co-presenting the show to be fair too.

Kylie was a bit annoying especially with the streets guy. I like Marvin!

6.
i found it a little dragged out, like everything was just long. The talent was good thought and i like the addition of Kylie and Ricky though.

I thought Kylie was surprisingly good and Ricky was surprisingly a little dull (normally really funny in interviews etc). That said, it was only the first episode and i'm sure he'll get better in time.

I would say 7 good start really like Kyile Ricky was good too. good array of talent but agree with kate too many sob stories but glad there was only one befiore they were famous with the guy from the steets. I also agree with joey prefer kyile to jessie but i miss danny but i do like ricky. And emma and marvin work well too

A solid 8. Ricky and Kylie fitted in seamlessly and there were a strong line-up of acts (especially the likes of Beth and Sally). Pity about Danielle, though. :(

Plus, Emma and Marvin are fantastic replacements. Any reference to the Kaiser Chiefs can only be a good thing and all.

Got an average of 8.4 million, that's good right? How much does the X Factor averagely get?

The latter used to be sky-high but now they barely dip into high single-digits. They've been mustering 7s for a while now, the launch starting with 8.78m (40%). Fingers crossed on The Voice taking over this time round.

Marvin is awkward as ****. Emma is underused. Still too much reliance on sobstories and stock footage of Kylie and Ricky treating the button as if it's radioactive.

I think I just don't like the format, or what the BBC does with it anyway... it could do with adverts to break up how repetitive it is.
