He couldnt sleep cuz Jasmine and Luisa were making noises in the bed; so he goes out to the smoking area to sleep not to smoke. She then follows him out there and acts all concerned that he coulnt sleep where as we know she's only gone out to wind him up some more. To his credit, he didn't rise.

This is why I like this bunch. Their tactics to make each other look bad are failing and they're making them selves look bad. I think this is one of the best bunch of HM's ever to enter the house TBH.

I watched the show Pinkpegasus and it was a good show. Jas isn't a nasty person and Jim is getting grumpier and grumpier. I often see housemates in both the celeb and ordinary big brother house wearing masks over their eyes and night and some I think took in ear plugs. its a very good idea if you like your sleep and need a good bit of it cos there is ALWAYS always going to be noise at night when there are younger housemates that are giddy or drink. Jim is gunning for Jasmine. Jas is a bad girl but I haven't seen any spitefulness from her. She is just highly strung and she reacts too quickly to things like thinking Casey told Sam that she and Luisa were talking. As a poster said in another thread Jim is getting paid very good money to endure 3 weeks in the house if he lasts that long. He should lighten up and be more like Linda and Liz who seem to be definitely more au fait with their younger side. Big Brother is meant to be entertaining if he wanted undisturbed nights sleep he should have stayed at home in his own bed. They were winding him up in the bedroom because he was moaning about noise and music being played into the house earlier in the evening. He took himself off to the garden and sat there like a wet weekend while everyone else had some fun and a dance. That's what started it; they just didn't decide out of the blue to keep him awake for spite. Everything is supposed to revolve around Jim - quietness at all times, no music, no fun. No wonder nearly all the HM's nommed him.

I know but I think it's a bit unfair to compare what she did to what Dappy did. I agree that she was looking to get under Jim's skin but I don't think that she did it in a hostile way or anything like Dappy.

..the sleep thing is always going to be a thing and especially more so with such mixed ages and younger people generally don't want to sleep until much later than older ones but I have to say that Jim did handle it well in that he didn't rant etc but just walked away..that isn't being miserable or complaining..(because you know it's going to happen when you agree to go in..)..it's just getting away from a situation that's irritating...I'm not convinced that she did purposefully go out to wind him up though, I think she was just highly insensitive as the point of someone wanting to be alone is that they don't want you there and she was one of the main people he was trying to get away from and she didn't grasp that at all...but for me, there are a lot of 'self' celebrities in there this time who just don't think beyond themselves or are considerate to anyone else's needs...I guess that makes for more entertaining viewing though...

I honestly don't think jasmine thinks she can win. She is totally entertaining though and Jim is an out and out whingey old man. Nobody was more surprised than Jas when she was saved 2nd last week. She even said she was sure she would be gone even though she had said jokingly during the week she was sure she would stay. If you look at her face when she was saved it wasn't an act it was genuine surprise. It will be interesting to see what happens Wednesday night

I disagree that that was her motivation, they clearly don't get on, they haven't gotten since before those results were announced (and were those results actually read out in order, i could have sworn Emma said in no particular order). It is funny how so many people here have "respect" for the older men in the house, just because BBC and British media tells you they are "legends"? I wonder how many British people on this site have actually seen their TV work. You just accept the fact that they are "legends" without having ever watched their work.

Are they actually as talented as you are told they are? I've tried to look up some of them on youtube, and i couldn't find anything that was impressive or funny. I'm not impressed by Lionel or Jim.

Both Lionel & Jim have careers going back decades in the UK & have both been on prime time Saturday night TV for many years, they are very well known in the UK. Lionel started out as an entertainer, then later in his career appeared as a regular panel member on a popular quiz show. Ditto for Jim, who had a successful career as a comedian, then went on to present popular game shows...

Compared to who else is in the house, they ARE legends & the most famous ones in there.

It actually is a very big deal in the UK, I've seen 2 articles in the Guardian about it (i read the Guardian every day), and it was on Charlie Brooker's Wipe show last week, so don't pretend CBB doesn't get plenty of attention in the mainstream press in the UK. It does, don't lie.

I agree with you to a point but I do think that (as much as the paycheck brought her to the show and to the UK) that I think as long as she's on the show and in the UK she'll want as much of the attention as she can get (and I think that's why she's after a showmance with Lee) I mean why is she famous? for breaking up a hollywood couples marriage and fighting with Lindsey lohan? He is obviously a lovely person and when the producers actually give him screen time he is charming, funny, endearing and intelligent. He throws himself into every task with enjoyment and and gets on effortlessly with everyone.
He's not intimidated by the louder personalities and he doesn't feel he has to push himself forward with any silly nonsense but is always just himself.
He's the type who will come into his own when there are fewer loud mouths in the house. :dance:
