Doing a French accent

When the housemates, in the funny room, were asked to jump like frogs, Jim spoke with a French accent, which I thought was quite amusing. I'm surprised nobody picked up on this as he was taking the p**s out of the French and normally that would be a DR warning.

It was made funnier that all the others were hopping around like frogs and Jim was (in a serious voice) doing a French accent...god that cracked me up. :D

If BB dish out warnings for that then they might as well put masking tape over all the HM's mouths and never allow them to speak.

lol yea i noticed it. i didnt think of a DR warning would happen and that would of been bs if it did. i didnt care for what Holyfield said with his beliefs but its his choice. didnt think he really needed a talking to. since they did i was surprised they didnt give Liz a talking to for saying the bible is nonsense lol

Seems to depend on the nationality whether mocking an accent is offensive or not :laugh:

Yeah, like Scottish / Irish / regional British / white American accents are always fine to affect. As are most European ones (except you have to be careful with German because you might inadvertently upset someone about WWII). And Australian, etc.

Black Caribbean accents seem to be generally considered acceptable too for some reason.
