Former "Survivor" runner-up Jessica Kiper was busted for DWI Saturday in New Orleans ... so she did what any other drunk fame-monger would do -- she snapped a selfie in the cop car.

Jessica -- who finished 3rd on Season 17 (and later appeared on "Celebrity Rehab") -- allegedly plowed into the back of another vehicle parked outside of a local high school.

Cops say Jessica was clearly hammered, so she was arrested and taken to the back of a squad car ... where she managed to snap a selfie. She was later taken to jail where she was booked and eventually released.

But the next day, Jessica posted the selfie along with a rambling caption making fun of the situation ... saying, "In my 8 hours [in jail] I made my weakest cell mate my bitch."

She added, "#survivor was worse. Crossing this off my bucket list. #wakeupcall."

Jessica also predicted, "My mugshot is going to be as bad as my yearbook photos."

The entire Heroes boot order was just a travesty. Sugar-Stephenie-Cirie-Tom was just too much for my heart to handle. At least Sandra made up for it all in the end and justice prevailed <3

Not that they would have bothered to show her if she had lasted longer though, since it was the Rob/Russell show and there was little time for anyone who actually brought some entertainment to the table.

Ugh this thread is dredging up all of my HvV resentment, it could have been glorious had the biggest dicks in Survivor history not been in charge of both tribes and if the editing wasn't abysmal.

Why do Americans think drunk driving is such a big *****ing laugh ? At least here in the UK it's still considered a shameful thing to do and people don't treat it as a joke, especially the next day after they've had a chance to sober up and reflect on their stupidity!
She doesn't seem to have shown a speck of regret or remorse. What an absolute twat!!!
Hopefully she'll get mowed down by someone like herself one day and then if she survives she'll have time to think about what a vile person she's been while she's paralysed and wheelchair bound for the rest of her miserable existence!
