A great many on here have been saying that for the last 2 years at least now Josy. It is also said in every ordinary BB series too by housemates when the crowd boo someone who stays in and cheers the ones that get voted out.

As you say, he is just saying what likely the majority of people watching and those who become housemates also think and say as to the crowd.
It was the crowd he was talking about, not the masses who vote,just the crowd.

I think we must be some of the only people on the forum who just enjoy this because everyone's been absolutely awful and it's made for wonderful television, I don't have a favourite housemate, I think they're all terrible and I love it :D

Not when the crowd are usually out of synch with the results, so should't effect Jim's popularity. You only have to look at past contestents to see how far our of synch the crowds usually are, most are probably not voters. I don't think Jim is bothered about winning even.
