Linda hates Jim, tries to goad him into losing his temper. Denise did the same with Michael. :suspect:

She's gonna stick up for the Nolan Vanessa she has worked with one of them and probably knows Linda,so they stick together.
Not thought about it but it is pretty similar, they have arguments largely initiated by Linda who tends to get more worked up and emotional about it than Jim does, just as with Denise. They're also sorta similar in that when they're not bickering they actually seem to get along quite well and more like an old couple, it's just that it never takes anything big to set them off again

Agreed. Denise and Michael did have some nice moments, where they had a laugh. It usually didn't last very long. The quiet before the tempest. :joker:

Very similar to the Denise/Michael situation.
When Denise couldn't provoke Michael into a row she would get upset because he was 'ignoring her' just like Linda is doing when Jim walks away.
The next thing both Denise and Linda do is go and broadcast their upset to the house 'Michael/Jim has upset me soo much' 'he's ignoring me, he's a pig' etc etc.
This is about the numbers game, getting people on 'their side' using their manufactured upset as a way of hooking well meaning others in. No one likes to see someone cry and the Denise/Lindas know this so always make damn sure other people see them cry so they can say 'what's the matter' 'oh it's jim/michael'.
I know people who do exactly the same thing, including in my own family. It usually gets fuelled by alcohol - just as it often did with Denise.
This is why i can't stand watching it on BB as i know how dangerous that type of person can be in successfully turning others against an individual.

Jim is a lot more patient than Michael. It has to be said. The man deseves a medal for putting up with her.
