On the one hand she wants the voters to kill off Jim for mentioning him when he didn't and now she is completely trashing his good name and memory just so she can look hip for the kids.

Its little wonder this woman is on suicide watch, she really is a piece of work. Please do the right thing, take her out and send her back to the dole queue, she isn't a celebrity, she is part of a dynasty that she had very little to do with and is linked by name only. Meltdown is what Linda did to manipulate everyone into taking her part against Jim after he had finally brought up the subject of why she hated him so much - after she had bawled him out in the garden, and told him to speak plainly and get his thoughts into the open. Even then, he didn't want to tell Luisa when she was pressing him for the reason for Linda's animosity, so he told her she'd have to ask Linda.

The fact that a friend of hers went onto the BOTS and could say no wrong about her made it look as if she behaves the same way outside the house. She gathers a group of sycophantic cronies around her who won't challenge her and support her no matter how badly she behaves, which puts her in a protected position of strength from where she can fire whatever insults she likes at whoever has put her nose out of joint. No friend of mine would behave like that, but if they did, I'd be appearing on TV telling people that it was out of character and that the strain must have been getting to them. I'd have reminded people how much pain she was carrying, and asked them to make a few allowances. We saw Lee's friend, Jim's friend and Luisa's mum all giving honest appraisals of what they'd seen, while being generally supportive. Good on them.

The thing for me is, irrespective of why Jim and Linda hate each other - Linda provides absolutely nothing else in the house worth talking about other than her beef with Jim which she refuses to openly discuss but has instead skirted around for the last two weeks, saying that he's this, that and the next thing without ever talking about why she feels that way about him. Jim's been involved in arguments with Luisa and is playing the role of grumpy, irritable housemate in there. If Jim went, Linda would be rendered useless in there - what would be the point in her as a housemate? What would she spend her time doing? If Linda went, Jim would still be grumpy and irritable and would still argue with Luisa. That's why I'd rather Linda went before Jim.

I'm not sure if she wouldn't have been able to find work - she's a well presented, articulate, sparky lady with drive. It's more probable that she has just needed recovery time from illness and bereavement, and possibly to give some time to exploring more career options. She has been to hell and back. If she's smart, she could make a lot more out of the BB exposure - between illness, bereavement, being on benefits, sexual morality controversy and her experiences on BB, she has a lot to offer. She could do a load of press interviews, morning TV appearances, write articles or a book, and more. She seriously needs to avoid the subject of Jim though, because she's digging her own grave (professionally) with her hatred.

When BB started, all those years ago, contestants were assessed for their psychological fitness to appear in the show. Has that changed? Psychologists were also employed by BB during the making of the programme. Has that changed? If it hasn't changed, then presumably they must feel that she is coping or they would pull her out of the show.

I'm not a psychologist, but she appears to be coping OK for now, and if she was sharing these thoughts before she went into the house, then it's maybe been a good thing for her to enter the house and make new friends, have a laugh at times, get off benefits and have the opportunities which the show will present. Yeah, a lot of people have hated her behaviour on the show, but in a way, that will give her far more opportunities than the more bland characters like Sam and Ollie - who'll want to listen what they say about it all? I don't, and Ollie is my favourite. Samantha Brick, Liz Jones, Katie Hopkins and others like them have done very well by stepping into areas of controversy. If Linda plays her cards right, she'll do alright.

But Linda is making friends in the house: she's as thick as thieves with Luisa; Jasmine nominated her because she's Casey's friend; Sam really likes her; someone (Ollie?) nominated Jim because of the atmosphere between Linda and Jim, so that person must see Linda as an ally or easier to live with. That said, if Dappy, for instance, has been upset by the way she acted after he asked everyone to be quiet in the bedroom, she might be up for eviction next week. Dappy just wants everyone to get on (dream on, Dappers :laugh3: )

Totally agree, some people actually need to go on the dole, it must be a very hard thing to come from a successful girl band then to have to swallow your pride and go to the job centre.

Financial hardship isn't really something we should mock a housemate for, I just don't get the British public they love to watch people fall, it actually entertains them to see someone struggling.

Jim hardly has a glowing credit score he was a tax dodger and filed for bankruptcy not to many years ago. I dont gloat about that or spew hate it just is what it is and has no effect on my views of him as a person. Money has nothing to do with anything.
