i never used to religiously watch The Voice but when jessie J and the script guy was on they all use to play the game properly and press the button if they liked the act and no messing about yeah sure they might wisper to eachother a bit but if they wanted the act then they pressed the button no silly business and yeah sure there was always a bit of competition among the judges but now its become a joke

what's with the constant mind games ? :conf: kaiser chief guy is forever asking Kylie "are you going to go" meaning is she going to press her button and its like some weird poker game where they are all egging each other on trying to out bluff each other and its like kids in a playground they all watch what the other one is doing and focus on that rather than the contestant soo much so that nobody is pressing their button's they all just copy each other

but the mad thing is they always act as if they regret their decision or they compliment the contestant like they should of gone through?

because when will. i .am finally started pressing his button he was called "sneaky" and the others are always acting jealous of eachother

i was soo shocked when they refused to let through the 55 yr old guy with that amazing sinatra voice he was the best singer last night
and all they could say was they thought he was a professional already? what kind of excuse is that? especially when they've just contradicted themselves by putting an emmerdale actress through with years of experience ??? who already has shed loads of money too

and they've put others through who have either already been in bands or they've already had a shot at the music business so the judges arent even consistent and dont seem to know what they're doing now

i dont think all the contestants are getting a fair chance and the auditions are suppose to be blind and i used to think it was good because they can just hear the voice the whole point of it all

but they might aswell be superficial like xfactor because they are behaving shockingly especially when they turned down the guy who did his own beats on a song and as soon as kylie turned around her face was soo dissapointed once she saw he was a young decent looking guy like she wished she pressed her button it shouldn't be about his looks? seen as they didn't like his performance and they thought he messed up?

so maybe they should just get rid of the blind auditions seen as they're not paying attention to the voices anymore it should be called deaf auditions because the judges aren't listening anymore they're too busy chatting to eachother and pretending they're going to press the button and then doing the opposite :bored:

just trying to make it interesting I guess  I think they were getting on Tom's nerves suggesting the 55 year old was "so Tom"

The constant "I made a mistake I should have pressed my button" is already really annoying. They are relying on what the other judges do because they are too scared to be the only ones to turn round and get stuck with the act. Will is the only one that has faith in his own decisions.

but even will.i.am was doing the exact same thing its only towards the end when he started pressing his button and he realised he should go with what he thinks is super star quality as he says

and to be honest the way he was acting so fussy i thought even he would of given the 55 yr old guy a chance but he behaved silly just like the other judges :bored:

I agree with the above posts, 55 yr old guy easily had the best voice that week yet nobody turned round ?? Fix....??? I don't know but it was cringingly embarrassing listening to all of them explain their reasons for not turning round. And the guy in question was really OK about it. Fair play to him

So Yes I also think the turn a round gimmick is flawed and has the judges playing a kind of Musical Chicken with each other to see who will press last or not be the only one to press in case they don't like the look of the person but are lumbered with them.

But still enjoy watching this show and the voices so far are all pretty much of a far higher standard than X - Factor at this first stage.

Noticed that too, makes a farce of the show tbh.
