you wouldn't say omg or wtf because you wouldn't be able to say them

T-i-B-B, it's an acronym so I treat it as one. Some popular acronyms are pronounced as words, yes, but only if they enter mainstream English, and even then for every person that says "lol" there's someone who will say "L O L", to go by that example...

Both ways are fine, but i tend to use tib or tibb.
T-I-B-B sounds a little like a radio or a tv channel commercial, like "T-I-B-B, Coming to you every night, bringing news from all things on Big Brother! T-I-B-B, a BB fan forum with no limits!" or something like that.
