don't care if there's any explanation it just goes completely against the basic rules
Jake.

Why would one be in there though?
King Gizzard
19-01-2014, 10:23 PM
Telling them what to do in whatever task they're doing Lol
Theres always people in during tasks, don't see the big deal they were probably there to set up the mic and stuff.
Jake.

can't they just get the stuff from the diary room though, like they use to, it just doesn't sit right with me, it's one of the main premises of the show

That might be true of the C5 era but it never used to be, on C4 they'd lock all the doors and wheel all the task props in overnight through big double door access points in the house
And actually anytime they've had people in the house we've seen them on C5 (well, that we know of) - this person wasn't even shown...they could have basically been directing the task for all we know, and that isn't reality

We have no way of knowing what goes on really, it's why I don't really trust the show much anymore Lol

Really don't care how small their part is/if they have no contact, it's still against the basic concept Lol
as is getting people in for tasks, leaving the house
With the exception of BBCH, because that was obviously a different concept to the normal shows anyway

Yeah of course it's against the concept but it's been the same for years now, they went way of course a long time ago, even channel 4 had them leaving the house and people entering etc nearer the end.

just because it was explained in the task doesn't take away from the fact that it was outside contact
ugh people need to stop making excuses for the producers, bet you people are the ones who also say graphics and titles don't matter too

Theres always outside contact now, it's long past the C4 days but you wouldn't know that because you barely watch any way.

:joker::joker: I've mentioned it so many times that I am watching
Maybe they were just setting up the task or something went wrong I don't think they could script 4 weeks of tv and a show like big brother would not do this it's just a one off the C5 era has been going for 4 years now we would know by now if it was all fake.
Anyway like Leon said she was there for the Props people think before you make any judgements

It was cue cards for Ollie & Sam, they were told to pretend they were on their reality shows, so needed a script & they are too thick to memorise one, so needed someone to hold up cards to let them know what to say... Don't know why another housemate couldn't have held it up though, as Lee held Liz's for her... Very odd.

Only since it's been on C5, they used to easily find ways around it

There’s another Celebrity Big Brother 2014 controversy brewing after it’s been revealed producers have been entering the house.
An unfortunately timed shot from the camera runs on spin-off programme Bit On The Side at the weekend showed a crew member in the house alongside the celebs holding up cue cards.
The female task team member was seen holding up a sign (the contents of which were not shown) to Ollie Locke and Sam Faiers as they took part in Saturday night’s Talent Show.
While it was part of a task it does still go against the fundamental rule of Big Brother that the housemates have no contact with the outside world, including other people.
A spokesperson for Channel 5 commented: “Sometimes the task team enters the Big Brother house but they don’t communicate with housemates.
“Ollie and Sam were taking part in an improvised reality scene and as part of this they were provided with storylines to react to.”
Some viewers complained about being misled by the show after believing that the reality telly pair had come up with the scene themselves, with one tweeting: “Annoyed. Here’s Me thinking it was honest and well planned by them.”
Ollie and Sam went on to win the contest, which was decided by judges Jim Davidson, Luisa Zissman and Linda Nolan.
Or at least, that’s what we were told.
