The argument with Jim aside isn't Luisa being stereotypical that women vote the most. Where is she gettting her stats from I'd like to know.

It could be that she thinks women get more emotionally involved than men, is that sterotypical?

I thought it was more stereotypical than downright sexist but still there are tons of guys watching.

It's not sexist, just a kind of vague assumption. It could be true though, who knows.
But oh The hypocrisy of Luisa !
If Jim had said that to her - she would have cried 'sexism' quicker than you could iron a shirt !

Typically it is known that women or teen girls are more inclined to vote on BB or talent contests, the good looking woman has pretty much been out first in every civilian Big Brother for 14 years, surely the males would want to keep in the eye candy?
I don't see how this is sexist at all. I hate the fact that whenever race, homophobia, sexism, aggressive pops up once in a series the viewers wont shut up about it and will look into everything and think *Ooh that could be offensive?!
Even Davina and Emma have been saying for years that more women vote.
So every year we have a new offensive thing to look out for, Hazel and Daley brought in aggressive and now CBB has brought in the sexism and these will annoyingly never go away and troll our forum till BB finally ends.

I agree it's probably an assumption. Just like I would assume more men than women will tune in to the champions league final.

I have seen it somewhere. 60% of voters are women aged 18 - 40.

Which goes to show that a hell of a lot of women still would rather vote for Jim than Luisa.

Yeah, i reckon that's probably true, like others have said it's been stated alot on BOTS etc but just personally, I don't know any men irl who watch it, in fact my husband won't even stay in the room if I turn it on he hates it that much

The only one my OH has ever watched with me was BB10...we both LOVED the Irrepressible Dark Horse. He'd never vote though, whereas occasionally I do.

Mine has always hated it, to the point where it gets annoying, even if he's on the laptop and I turn it on, he'll take the laptop into the kitchen or wherever :joker:

Exactly. When I used to watch big brother I would have had the piss ripped out of me if I told anyone.
This is the only place I've seen heterosexual males talk positively about it.

My 20 year old son watches it, he's straight. Mind you, he does live in Watford and often goes to the live shows.

Come to think of it I always hear them say isnt it weird woman always vote out women first. I know it isn't sexist but it was the first think that came through my mind when Luisa said it and then straight away said Jim is offensive to women when I was a guy sitting there thinking she's just presumed that but then again I know more girls who watch it then guys.

Going by how the votes go plus the gender of the majority of the people that go into the crowds I think we know how Luisa got her stats it's not very hard is it?

TXF has more guys vote on it than BB does though, hence why contestants like Diana, Amelia, and Sophie Habibis were not first out.
