he had the wine, so there was no reason for him to bring anything up considering he was guilty himself. instead though he chose to specifically mention the brandy that Linda had, no mention of the wine. so clearly he was trying to turn housemates against Linda yet again. how can he justified? Loved how Linda shut Jim up and embarrassed him in front of everyone, he was asking for it

ugh he's SO VILE.

What I don't like about Jim in that instance (from my understanding) was that he told the others (I'm assuming he referred to the Huskies, after Luisa wanted him to stay) to go and starve. And then he spilled the liqueurs or whatever he had and didn't apologise to Casey, Luisa, Lee and Dappy for it.

Linda's bitter, but Jim isn't exactly a saint in this situation, no matter how some people may want to look at it.

Why nope? How was he in the right#

There is no right or wrong here because there weren't sides to be taken. Jim said he didn't have any brandy. Linda immediately took offense and started berating him for trying to make her look bad because she had some brandy and he didn't. Jim walked away. Jim wasn't in the right because Jim didn't say anything, nor did he say anything to Linda to even warrant that response. He just said that he didn't have any brandy, meaning, he didn't have any brandy. That's all.

I don't understand the no comments and I'm a Jim fan.

It doesn't really matter which alcohol he said, or had, she still had to scream bloody murder at him in front of everyone. If that bothered her - and I don't really know why it should - she could've just kept it to herself. Also, I thought everyone (bar him) had the brandy? So why did Linda just take it as an attack on herself? I'm sorry, I really do hate Jim Davidson, but she is a ****ing tedious bitch in all of this and she cannot let anything go.

He said "we had brandy", as in we, the group, were given brandy but I didn't have any brandy... then Linda said she'd had some and then retrospectively decided that Jim must have been making a dig at her. Probably not helped by the fact they were, you know, drunk from drinking alcohol.

Lets play an alternative scenario where they were given wine and Jim was the only one to drink it

Huskies: Did you have any alcohol
Linda: We had wine but we didn't drink it

Jim would have either needed to lie to make himself look as good as Linda or tell the truth about all the alcohol. Its a horrible place to be in and Linda would ave been a twat to put him in this position.

Jim didn't mention the wine because when asked if they had alcohol Ollie lied and said "No".

Maybe Jim thought this sounded too suspicious, or maybe as another poster pointed out he went along with the not having wine thing because that is the usual drink they always get but just decided to mention the brandy things because they were different.

If I was in the indoor housemates shoes and we were going along with the pretence that we got no alcohol whatsoever I would feel that it would sound too suspicious as if we had been getting all the perks of the task so far, it would be very odd for us to not get ANY alcohol on a task where we were getting the perks, even though they always seem to get alcohol on even just regular days. So to throw others of the scent I would probably mention that Big Brother did provide some strange brandy drinks but that we weren't arsed with having them.

Jim never once made reference to Linda drinking the brandy, or singled her out. He said "we didn't drink them"

He was going along with Ollie and the rest in saying that they didn't get wine but mentioned that they got some brandy things that they didn't bother drinking.

I don't believe he was singling Linda out there to make her look bad he's not stupid, he knew he had drank wine himself and that the huskie housemates would eventually see this.

I think he was just playing along with the story but Linda decided to take offence as usual and go on the attack. She's like a fecking pitbull!

"We had Brandy, but we didn't drink it"

He said it to make them all look good. Only Linda made Linda look bad..

That's exactly what happened.

His main reason for saying it was for the huskies benefit. He wanted them to feel supported by the rest of the house, to let them know they were all being sympathetic to the huskies by not indulging in the brandy.

Jim was even kind enough to include Linda in that ! He didn't say 'we all drank the brandy except Linda' - he said WE didn't drink it and included her !

But Linda ruined it. She has to argue with Jim no matter what he says or does. Just like she moaned tonight when he didn't eat - and then moaned when he did ! It is an unhealthy obsession she has with him.

Even Luisa is starting to see it now.

p.s. - Linda probably felt guilty for being the only one drinking the brandy as the other 4 glasses remained untouched.

Jim demonstrated he cared tonight and Linda demonstrated that she didn't. So she had to try ruin it for him. Sad.

The way I saw it Jim thought the huskies had had to eat dog food, so he told them there was left-over curry, and added that there was cherry brandy, which they hadn't drunk, meaning that the huskies had that to look forward to.

Linda then said she'd drunk one, and was happy to describe what it was like.

Dappy then thanked Jim, whereupon Linda immediately kicked off because she hates the fact that Dappy likes Jim. She twisted the story and said Jim had only mentioned the cherry brandy to make her look bad, when in fact it was her who said (quite happily) that she drunk it.

After that, she tried to make Jim look even worse by saying they'd all had wine, thus upsetting Ollie who had said they hadn't had any so the others wouldn't feel deprived. So she made everyone feel bad in order to score a point off Jim. Finally she changed her story and said Jim had drunk all the wine.

Edit to add: oopsie I have cross-posted with others who see it in the same way as I do . Sorry guys. :)

Linda's BB story :

1. Entered the house moaning about Jim (even in her VT)
2. Moaned about Jim at every given opportunity
3. Exits the house and moans about Jim on BOTS (probably)

That's it.

And that's why her odds of winning are now at 100/1.

Ironically her victimising of Jim has helped push him to be the 6/4 favourite to win!

One of them is as bad as the other one. I don't much like any of them and I am still extremely puzzled as to how Jim is one of the favourites and has so much support :(

Here's why I don't like Linda: I don't like people who launch foul mouthed confrontational rants at people rather than being willing to work out problems. I don't like people who bitch loudly about people they don't like. I don't like people who whinge constantly. I don't like people who hold grudges and are spiteful towards people they don't like. I don't like people who are so arrogant that they think they're right all the time, and never apologise for anything. If they don't display any other qualities which are particularly attractive or interesting, then there's no point in having them around.

Linda's favourite accusation is that Jim is mysogynistic. Many men of his generation make similar comments, and their loved ones might be watching the show, imagining them being treated like Jim. She also castigates him for making snide comments and walking away like a coward rather than standing up to her. I rather admire Jim for keeping his cool. Along with his flaws and assets, he is a very interesting personality with a lot of life history and experience under his belt and he makes me laugh at times.

Maybe the British public feel like me. The conflict is forcing people in the house to take sides, and outside the house all the debate is polarising opinion, with the majority of viewers backing Jim. Many viewers, like me, didn't know much about Jim before the show - so they're judging by what they see and not by his reputation.

I haven't voted for Jim, but I am just giving my opinion.

..it wasn't Jim's fault at all and I'm not even a fan of his...I think in general with housemates, they're quite extremes of personalities and with celebrities, there is often a lot of controversy and mixed public opinion attached to them, which is why BB chooses them and also for conflicting views with other celebrities in there etc...but to be fair to Jim, I think with him, he's probably had a much more controversial past than the 'average' and I think it's important to him to try to change some of the negative public opinion..also for his career as well...so it was always going to be no easy task, but he's also had to put up with the relentless hatred of Linda who will not rest until he's hated by the whole of humankind...and the sad thing is that I don't even think that's an exaggeration ..she totally detests him and I don't think would ever see any slight shred of good in him...

..in my opinion he hasn't always reacted to her hatred in the best of ways, the Frank Carson thing being the best example but on the whole, I think he has coped with it all very well because that environment at the best of times is very 'pressure cooker' but having to live with the strength of feeling that Linda has for him would kind of make the best of us, walk out that door...who needs that..?...

..anyway, as a person/human being, there is so much about him that I don't admire but as a housemate and how he has withstood Linda's venom, I have to have some respect for him...whether he's had to do that/hold himself in because he's afraid to show his anger etc, it doesn't matter because on the whole he's done it and very few people could...

..as awful as she is, it's hard to 'hate' someone like Linda because what she is, is a deeply unhappy lady who seems to totally hate herself and her life...I know she has had to face some very difficult things in her life and that's sad...those things aren't fair and we can't change them, all we can do is try to take something positive from them but I think that all she has taken is bitterness and self-pity and that bitterness during her time in BB has all been transferred to a person she dislikes...Jim has his wife and some good things in his life and those things probably help and will help to make him a better person...I hope Linda finds something good to believe in as well....

he had the wine, so there was no reason for him to bring anything up considering he was guilty himself. instead though he chose to specifically mention the brandy that Linda had, no mention of the wine. so clearly he was trying to turn housemates against Linda yet again. how can he justified? Loved how Linda shut Jim up and embarrassed him in front of everyone, he was asking for it

ugh he's SO VILE.

I know, he actually is a gameplayer

I know he's vile, Jim fans will try and blame it all on Linda again

Yeah. He tried to play the good guy, making everybody else the bad guy

Why nope? How was he in the right

That needs highlighting.

:worship::worship::worship: hes an hypocrite and tried to play the martyr but fell flat on his arse ! Good one Linda girl, once again she showed up for the liar he is !!

Making LINDA look the baddy

What I don't like about Jim in that instance (from my understanding) was that he told the others (I'm assuming he referred to the Huskies, after Luisa wanted him to stay) to go and starve. And then he spilled the liqueurs or whatever he had and didn't apologise to Casey, Luisa, Lee and Dappy for it.

Linda's bitter, but Jim isn't exactly a saint in this situation, no matter how some people may want to look at it.

Stop with the petty insults and explain
or you just know I'm right :)

He said; "they even sent us in a cherry brandy liquor thing, and we didn't drink them"
This is right MTVN

Can't stand the guy, I so wish he would be evicted tomorrow, he's nasty nasty man IMO

Put it this way, IF Jim did say that to make Linda look stupid then he did a good job, I like Linda more than him but she looked a bit of a prick picking an argument about who drunk what.

Not even bothered if Linda is trying to stir, she has a right to against the sexist misogynist.

Like most are saying Linda was at fault here, all she ever wants is to have a go at Jim infront of everyone for nothing.

Ollie said we had drank nothing, Jim said they even got brandy and we never drank any and next minute Linda blurts out how she drank it and starts slagging Jim off for bringing it up and yet he never brought it up, he was trying to make the huskies feel better that they were on there side and won't drink and eat, it doesn't matter if he had drank the wine or brandy or not he was just trying to be nice, but nope #thuglinda had to steamboat in and blame it on Jim when in fact she was the one who said something, she is getting right on my tits now

It didn't make Linda look bad; the huskies weren't going to care about a bottle of cherry brandy that they didn't know about. Linda volunteered that information and Linda made herself look bad. If Jim had gone on to say "but Linda drank one" then yes, Jim would have been in the wrong, but Linda thinking that she's pre-empting Jim by beating him to it is 1) making her look stupid and 2) assuming that Jim is going to say **** about her which he's never said is precisely why people have been speculating if she's even coping with being in the house, she's extremely paranoid and bitter.

It makes me wonder if some people actually watch the show, or if they are too busy Tweeting every 5 seconds through it to actually see what is going on...

Im entitled to my opinion just as you are to yours. I don't like him end of!!! I have watched him in the house and I just don't like the way he acts. He thinks he is superior to them all. Well he isn't. If he wins he wins. He wont be the first winner that didn't deserve the crown.

Of course you are entitalled to your opinion,it's just a shame it's not based on fact, just by hearsay, that's all

he had the wine, so there was no reason for him to bring anything up considering he was guilty himself. instead though he chose to specifically mention the brandy that Linda had, no mention of the wine. so clearly he was trying to turn housemates against Linda yet again. how can he justified? Loved how Linda shut Jim up and embarrassed him in front of everyone, he was asking for it

ugh he's SO VILE.
Explain to me how he could he possibly turn the housemates against Linda by saying they received cherry brandys but they did not drink them. Please only come at me with intelligent and logical reasons and not emotional drivel.

He didn't have the food though because the dogs weren't getting any, maybe he assumed they would get something to drink so had a little drink off something that wasn't part of the task..the brandy was part of the task so he declined on it which should be praised not ridiculed!!

I agree with Jim and Dappy on this. It's the principle of it.
