Jim said they had cherry brandy but they hadn't had it - the wine was obviously in full flow but to Jim's knowledge all the brandy had been untouched

Linda said she had one

Ollie made them all look bad; Jim admitted half of the truth and then Linda admitted another bit of the truth and then the argument had nothing to do with the fact the explorers had alcohol and just turned into another Linda/Jim argument about nothing.

Ollie had already said they had no wine. Jim said they had got the Cherry Brandy things but didn't drink them, he never mentioned Linda drinking hers, she did.. If Linda hadn't jumped in they would be none the wiser about the wine or the brandy, end of argument Salman!

I got the impression that they'd agreed not to say they'd been drinking so the others wouldn't feel worse. Jim tried to cheer the others up by saying there was curry and cherry brandy waiting for them. Linda wasn't bothered by Jim telling them, and contradicted him so she could tell the others how it tasted. She only got pissed off when Dappy said "Thanks Jim". It was a task and they always deceive people during tasks then tell them the truth afterwards. They'd have told about the wine afterwards, same as usual, just as the others would have told them that they'd enjoyed great food and alcohol in the bar.

Linda made it worse, i think Jim was trying to be nice to the others by stating that big brother had given them all special drinks but they didn't drink any, it was only linda's big mouth saying she had drank it and then that ment an arguement with Jim which she loves doing and blamed it on him because he mentioned it, and yet she is the one who said she had drank it. she is doing my nut in now, all she ever seems to do is want an arguement over everything.
