And that sums it all up perfectly.
No one is buying this "Linda the victim" thing.

Quite a few are, it's ok to have a differing opinion you know?...
Wouldn't do if we all thought alike.

And it was all her own doing, she's a nutter, not a victim.

I agree on both counts, but no one is seriously buying Linda's victim act, people who take Linda's side are of course entitled to, but those folks want to side with her because they dislike Jim.
If she behaved like this against anyone else she'd be run out of town. :joker:

And visa versa, neither are entirely innocent or entirely guilty, they are playing mind games with each other.
I would have more sympathy for jim if he wasn't such a argumentative, miserable old soak who tried to control the whole house.
..I think that she has real emotional issues, which in the house have transferred as an obsessive hatred for Jim, but it is a bit shabby to call her a 'nutter' or a 'nutjob girl..'...I think that she has very real issues that she needs some professional help with, to have any positivity in her life at all...
I think the thing is that regardless of whether or not you dislike Jim as a person; Linda has been the one aggressively bitching about him. He's not innocent in all of this but it's clear that Linda is the one with the problem with Jim, and whether that's justifiable or not, it's meant that Jim has picked up support for being on the receiving end of Linda's bitching whereas Linda only really has people on her side because they think Jim is horrible, but not many of these people actually rate Linda as a housemate and would vote for her if she were up for eviction; whereas Jim has gained support because Linda's been going for him and people like the way he's been responding to it.

Well that's the crux of it.... some only see what's right in front of their face.
The overtly aggressive challenges by linda are picked up on the more subtle digs by jim missed as they may not be shown. He has been exposed on one or two occasions though.
The charm offensive we see now is as a result of his 'victim' stance.... but can he maintain it?

...I don't thing that's true or certainly not for me because I've never really liked Linda/was never on her side but just because she's so obsessively aggressive toward Jim, doesn't mean she sometimes hasn't had a point but it's often been too hard to see because she herself seems to find it hard to see beyond her open hatred of him, so it's quite often hard to find sympathy for her...

I wouldn't say I'm offended but I think it's a bit patronising to imply that I'm "missing" something. Jim's subtle digs are being noticed, Kizzy, but the point is that Linda chooses to go about things in an overt, aggressive manner which makes Jim look chilled out and makes her look like the one with the problem. If she had any sense she would fight fire with fire and just keep things to subtle digs instead of being fiery and seeking Jim out for an argument. I guarantee if Linda was taking Jim's approach she'd be called sassy, hilarious and people would be saying they were like an old married couple and it would be funny to watch rather than worrying. I don't think Jim's on a charm offensive whatsoever; I just think that his support is purely borne out of the fact that Linda's enraged by his existence and Jim's not really been particularly emotional about Linda going on at him at all, he's just a bit grumpy and stony faced. There's not much to like about Jim when you take away Linda's obsessive hatred of him which is just giving him extra votes every time he's up for eviction.

She doesn't have many fans Ammi, was what I was saying. People take her side against Jim because they think Jim is a dick and they may well agree with Linda's points but they don't actually support Linda as a housemate.

Yes betting odds mean nothing, I suppose the massive support Jim has on Twitter & BB's Facebook page mean nothing too :joker:
PMSL at the Jim haters trying desperately to convince themselves Jim isn't liked :xyxwave:

Linda's odds are shocking. If she carries on like this she'll have the worse winning odds on the show ever! :joker:
