Linda being sexist.

My boyfriend says that Linda is being sexist by saying "You should grow a pair of balls" - one of her favourite put-downs. This is clearly implying that if a man is not a particular type, then he is some type of eunuch.

I can't believe how much of a hypocrite she is.

She's making Ollie feel less of a man by saying that he doesn't have any balls, but says that Jim is too aggressive and undermines women whenever he says something.

Ollie shouldn't be put down just because he avoids confrontation.

I'm not a Jim fan and neither is my boyfriend. This thread is about Linda, and the reason I started it is because she told Ollie that he needs to grow a pair of balls. I rather like Ollie the way he is. Just to clear things up. ;)

And just to clarify what I said - I haven't called anyone in the house sexist, I'd go as far to say that I haven't even used the word on the forum.

The reason why Linda is a hypocrite is because of how she undermined Ollie and told him he needs start having opinions, but when it comes to Jim having an opinion she attacks it in a heartbeat. That's the only reason why I mentioned Jim, and has nothing to do with sexism.
