How can anyone take this self-important idiot seriously? He has done nothing all series apart from pretending to fancy Sam in a contrived and ridiculous way. And even in the fence sitting task, he couldn't make his mind up. Linda is right - he needs to grow a pair of balls.

Just said in a similar thread, it was unecessary, he shoulda just spoke with Linda and Lee directly. However I guess he thought most of the HMs felt a similar way. Also BB designed a task based on 'sitting on the fence' for him and Sam to partake in, so he probably wanted to address it to everybody.

He also didn't seem to get Linda's nomination at all. She did *not* tell him to "stick up for himself" like he kept repeating like a broken record, but to have an opinion.

I agree. He'd been accused of sitting on the fence and then having no balls. He was standing up for himself and explaining his behaviour. He's quite a sincere man. He does appear to be a bit easily influenced to change his mind, but perhaps that is just because he is fair-minded enough to be able to see both points of view.

His speech and his subsequent behaviour just smacks of someone whose ego has been deflated and whose pride has been stung. Calling Luisa a snake shows that he is just forcing this nice guy Ollie act - he's obviously not a malicious person and I don't think he's pretending to be nice, but he's definitely pushing it further than the reality. Everyone has opinions. Everyone has ups and downs. Ollie is trying to pretend he's always up and he would do anything to avoid getting anyone offended or upset. Most people don't like to upset others; but sometimes in life you have to say or do things that not everyone will agree with and when you try the Ollie approach, people end up disliking you anyway because they think you're fake. Which I think he is. Nobody is that nice. Nobody. The comments about Luisa show that he can't possibly BE that nice, nobody can. I hope he learns from this that he can't always be a people pleaser, it just ends up hurting you in the long run because people don't believe what you say and don't believe you have any conviction. Lee's nomination for him was precisely because Ollie was trying to play middle man and Linda's nomination for him was because he has no backbone, never wants to give an opinion...

Ollie is the polar opposite of luisa, shes got balls, hes got none, I do think hes a nice guy though
