First post coming up.

I am of the opinion that Linda was and still is, possibly ashamed that her late husband was found guilty of stealing and that to this day, it still haunts her.

The fact that some people remind her of the event, makes it worse. I don't know, but maybe because Jim was a friend of Frank Carson he still holds him dear to his heart and cannot forgive Linda's late husband and as a result, brings it into the arena from time to time.

Either I didn't know or had forgotten about this event which allegedly took place several years ago, and guess I'm not alone. Linda will know that and here it is again, bringing more shame. Is it any wonder at any opportunity she is on the defense and uses any word or glance to show aggression.

Were Linda and Louise to go tonight, my money would be on a quiet peaceful enjoyable last few days.

She has to go. She brings the mood down. I want Jim to have a peaceful last 5 days.

Hi Hatch, and a warm welcome to the [madhouse] ...erm site!
I think that your first post on the site is a fine effort, and pretty near the mark...however, I still think that there is more to Linda's hatred of Jim than the episode of Jim's argument with Brian decades ago!
Maybe Linda is just one of those 'not very nice' and 'confrontational' sort of people?...remember how awful she was on bots when Colleen was in there. She virtually hissed and screamed her bile toward Julie Goodyear so much that her inoffensive [whimpy] husband almost curled into a ball and wept like a baby!...It was then that I thought "she's an evil cow"!
...And so I find it hard to have any sympathy for any reason that she feels justifies the horrible way she has been with Jim!...in my eyes, he's done nowt wrong, and she will deserve the boos that she will receive tonight!...after all, she would have loved to have been hearing the same boos for Jim tonight , if her tactics of 'bastardifying' him had worked ,wouldn't she! :spin:

Cheers.

Yes, I am Jim fan and yes, he entertained my son-in-law when he was posted abroad, so have that slight connection with him. Mind you, I always liked the "Nolan's" sound, but have gone right off her now. She comes across as someone who thinks the world still loves her.

Welcome to TiBB Hatch...
I think the issue is pretty deep seated whatever it is. The final straw for me was the argument over passing her a knife. It beggars belief, I know we see a highlighted version but given the anti-Jim BOTs lot, I'm sure we would see more of his antagonism if there was any. I am not a Jim fan but the level of hatred Linda displays is not healthy IMO

I've delivered Linda Nolans bed to her house once or twice and I know Coleen's Sons, well i did do when i was younger and i'm mates with her nephew, she always seemed alright then

But she's still an evil vile person on Big Brother, she's had a chip on her shoulder since she came into the house and i honestly believe for her own good she needs to leave, i think it's damaging any work for her after and it's bringing everyone down in the house, I mean reality is her husband stole money many times off frank carson over the summer i believe it was, and he was caught the once and she believes it to be just the once, but i believe she knows that her husband did it,

Like AnnieK says it just shows how bad she can be, when Jim passes her a knife and she says don't be nice to me, i mean seriously get over it and move on, wow your husband and Jim had a bit of a falling out over a dear mate of Jim's (Frank Carson) which i'd do the same, just move on, she can't get out the past

I think Linda can take a positive away with her...in the knowledge that she has rebooted Jim's career.

I am under the impression that Linda knew of her husband stealing money, and maybe even coaxed him a bit. She feels half the blame, so reacts as though it was just £20, and nobody should have made a fuss of it. If we get caught, who cares about £20? We need it. So she blames herself partly.

I don't. Jim's been entertaining precisely because he's not been allowed to have peaceful days, it would be a disservice to him as a housemate if he was any different

If Linda goes we will see his funny side a lot more.
