How would you feel if there were plans announced to have a series with 6 celebrities and 6 civilians? Do you think it would be good television or do you think it should always be separate?

it's been done a million times on BBUSA and Survivor. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't...

Fans vs. Fav's 1 is one of my favorite Survivor series, but i hated the second one.

Ultimate BBUK , was basically a half civilian/half celeb season, and it was just meh. It sucked after Coolio left. Started well though, and Brian was adorable as ever. I miss Brian :(

I think this is a good idea Zee. I would like to see one series with 6 celebs and 6 civilians. Maybe this should be done next January? When half of the celebs are not really celebs anyway ;)

for BB15 no, but if they did this instead of CBB14 then that would be a good idea

Like your idea, I like the proper civilian series much more than CBB, so I wouldnt want them to mess with BB15.

I think if they are going to have two series of CBB then the second series should be 6 celebrities and 6 none celebrities.

yes, this would be good. One celeb series, one civilian series and one mixed per year. I'd quite enjoy that. Or another celebrity hijack type show?

Big Brother: Stars and Strangers

Great title :)

No but if they do keep doing the summer CBB I think the winner of the civilian one should get to enter the Celebrity house aswell every housemate would be fighting for that.

Agree - I think it also helps them stay in the limelight and gives them an extra boost which civilian winners don't really get any more.

We had UBB and that stunk, who knows though Ch5 might do a good job of it.

Some might say that's already been happening for a few years now.

But NO, it's a horrible idea, celeb and civilian BB's should never meet.

I'd rather just do away with CBB and have a civilian every summer and all the funds go into that, live feed...spin off shows..the like

could be interesting I guess, would need to pick each HM carefully though to avoid factions between the two

Think it's best to just keep it separate. I've noticed though on the normal BB's they all seem to have some vague celebrity connection these days.

Would work at all, Celebs would have an immediate headstart with a preexisting fan base and there would be an immediate divide. Plus the series would have to be short to accommodate the celebs.

I guess they could try it, but I very much doubt it would be worth the effort.
