Has anyone done the Everest Base Camp trek or actually climbed Everest?

Seriously though...my brother is planning to do it at some point. He did Kilimanjaro last year..

Two of my sister's friends climbed to one of the camps on it. They're kinda rock climbing fanatics.

I'd never considered it before until I got a couple of people to do it. Now I really like the sound of it and there is an excursion/trek that is only £899.

That sounds like a good deal... how long is the trip? I love being in the mountains, and that's got to be the mountain trip to end all mountain trips.
I'd absolutely LOVE to do something like this.
I just lack motivation :umm2:

15 days, which is quite nice fitting it in between work also.
