obviously everyone's gonna say noughties because most of us were kids/teenagers then and there's only been 4 (and a bit) years of the tens :tongue:

tens have not been that bad tbh, but 2011 was a sh*t year

Thought the 2000s were doing great until around 2007/8 (even if I was at most just starting my GCSEs) and since then things have been on a steady decline, even though this year and the last have been alright (so far). Probably just me looking over things with rose-tinted spectacles.

That said, technology obviously continues to get better with every passing 12 months and I look forward to seeing further advances.

On a personal level 2011 was my best year to date. I'll go with Tens for that.

2010-2014 thus far have been full of doom and gloom but with some really amazing highlights; 2000-2009 was okay but I think overall I still prefer this decade to the last one.

Also I once heard someone refer to the '10s as "the teenies" and I cringed so hard I almost died

All of the biggest artists now were around in the naughties too, it seems like. kanye west, beyonce, katy perry, lady gaga

There's a lot of overlap.
